Five Ways to Overcome the Energy of Fear

feature_image_template

By PL Chang

Learning how to face your fears so that you can gather enough courage to face them is one of the first steps to overcoming the energy of fear. Another very important step is to comprehend what fear is. If you don’t take the time to learn what fear is, you will have a very hard time overcoming your fears. The reason for this is because you can’t overcome fearful emotions when you aren’t even aware of how they are affecting you. Once you know what your fears are and how they affect you, it becomes easier for you to find solutions to help you overcome them.

What is fear?

Fear is the strongest thought form in the negative polarity. It is a negative form of energy that is often expressed through negative emotions. This negative energy is great for weakening your energy of empowerment, because it puts your mind in a victim consciousness state. This negative state of mind prevents you from appreciating the gift of love, making it hard for you to comprehend others and appreciate life. The energy of fear also brings chaos into your life and prevents you from accessing your higher senses.

7 Chakras & 7 Links to Your Subconscious!

feature_image_template

By: Davina Skinner

The Chakras do not start and end with their description or definition – which is where many people stop with their understanding of them. To know their name and position is great but what purpose does that serve? What use is that information to you in your daily life? The Chakras are amazing, organic, 3 Dimensional Centers of Energy and within them they hold so many secrets.

When their energy is combined, it makes up what we call the Aura, the energy field within and around the human body. It is within this energy sphere that psychics can ‘see’ and can discern many things about you that the ‘normal’ person is not consciously aware of.

4 Interesting Things About the Third Eye Everyone Should Know

By: Scott Thill

Located in nearly the direct center of the brain, the tiny pinecone-shaped pineal gland, which habitually secretes the wondrous neurohormone melatonin while we sleep at night, was once thought to be a vestigial leftover from a lower evolutionary state.

Indeed, according to recent research, we could be increasing our chances of contracting chronic illnesses like cancer by unnecessarily bathing its evenings in artificial light, working night shifts or staying up too late. By disrupting the pineal gland and melatonin’s chronobiological connection to Earth’s rotational 24-hour light and dark cycle, known as its circadian rhythm, we’re possibly opening the doors not to perception, but to disease and disorder. A recently published study from Vanderbilt University has found associations between circadian disruption and heart disease, diabetes and obesity.

Autism Bomb: Bayer Herbicide Causes Autism, Even at Trace Levels

feature_image_template

Bayer’s Liberty Link GMO crops made to withstand glufosinate ammonium (GLA) herbicide are linked directly to autism-like symptoms, according to a new study. Even in low doses, both pre and post-natal exposure to GLA caused symptoms in laboratory mice.

Published in Frontiers of Behavioral Neuroscience, the study outlines how GLA, one of the most widely used herbicides in agriculture is harming neurological health.

Pointing to the findings of previous research linking herbicides and autism, as well as with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, the study explains that pesticide and herbicide exposure weakens the basic structure of the brain.

The Importance of Noticing Your Breath

feature_image_template

Following the breath is the practice which the Buddha is said to have used when he attained Enlightenment. It’s usefulness as a method is significant.

Following the breath is a practice that can be used to increase our awareness of our bodies, feelings, and minds. It starts with relaxing and settling the mind, which leads to great benefits, strengthening our Buddhist practice and ultimately leading to Awakening.

It’s best to find a quiet place, but that isn’t always easy in the modern world. Being in a place that’s slightly more disturbed makes things a little more difficult, but not impossible.

It’s best to have a stable posture, ideally the full lotus or half lotus. But, sitting on your knees is okay too and plenty of people who have back problems sit in chairs or lying down.

We being by noticing the breath. We notice whether our breaths are short or long, hard or soft.

Emptying the Mind

By Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless – like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend. -Bruce Lee

In our society, the mind’s generally seen as a good thing. Gaining knowledge is very important, and what other way to do so than to use the mind and its practically infinite capabilities?

I have nothing against the mind, and neither do the spiritual teachers we’ll hear from here. Like them, I recognize that the mind’s an important instrument for the expression of consciousness and the gaining of knowledge, and it can take us far if we know how to use it.

5 Questions Guaranteed To Help You Know Yourself Better

feature_image_template
When Gretchen Rubin, author of The Happiness Project spoke at World Domination Summit this past summer, she said that the key to happiness is to be more of who we are. In order to know who we are, she suggests that we ask ourselves a few key questions. Try writing down your answers to the following questions.

1. Who do you envy and why?

Gretchen says that when someone has something you want, that’s very useful information about who you want to be. Rather than focusing on the negative aspect of envy or the judgment you might put on yourself for feeling that way, focus on being grateful for this additional information about what you value and care about.

How to See Problems as Opportunities

feature_image_template

By Jason Demakis

Life throws us curve balls all the time; it's the nature of the game. How we choose to interpret these events (and how we define and label them on our personal scale of severity) is going to have a huge impact not only on our experience of perceived problems - but our ability to effectively work through them.

How this works is that our perceptions tend to break down into two main categories: problems as obstacles, and problems as opportunities. Let's explore both in detail and extract as much personal empowerment as possible, shall we?
