There are so many mental and physical benefits that meditation brings into your life. Though meditation will take a little practice, it is not as complicated as you would think! Here are some easy pointers on getting started:

1. Sit in a comfortable position. Find someplace quiet and devoid of distractions. Turn off your cell phone, laptop, etc. Wear loose clothing. You can even put your feet up. Meditation doesn’t require sitting in the lotus position or any form of uncomfortable, forced posture.

2. Clear your mind. Easier said than done, right? I like to think of the light filtering in from a distant star. I imagine that love and light are enveloping me, draining all the stress and negative energy I have absorbed from my busy, stressful day. Yes, meditation is a process, but I promise you can do it...

While France wisely outlawed wi-fi in its schools due to its serious effects on children, more appliances, transmitters, signals, antennas, phone masts, dishes, and electronic gadgetry is being added by the minute.

And we’re supposed to be excited about it.

Just look at the below insane ad intended to sex-up the electromagnetic crap blasting our biosignals to smithereens.

Looks like V-rizin’ wants to “Rule the Air!” with their death-dealing microwaves.

Wrong, you bastards. Don’t tell us what we want, Big Corp, we’re sick of it! And for those falling for this…wake the hell up!

Police and prosecutors are using the same law that allows the IRS to seize thousands of dollars from innocent working Americans to confiscate thousands of dollars worth of property. In fact, citizens don’t even need to be arrested or charged with a crime for authorities to steal their belongings.

“Civil asset forfeiture,” as the New York Times describes it,

“allows the government, without ever securing a conviction or filing a criminal charge, to seize property suspected of having ties to crime.”

Often, these “forfeitures” are sold, with proceeds going in part to local police forces. The scope of this practice expanded with the Drug War in the 1980s and in 2012 alone, $4.3 billion worth of assets was confiscated. This was a huge uptick from 2001, which saw $401 million taken by the state.

Eduardo Schenberg, of the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, recently published a piece in Sage Journals, detailing his belief that Ayahuasca has cancer-fighting abilities, essentially encouraging the legalization of research in the field.

He says, “There is enough available evidence that Ayahuasca’s active principles, especially DMT and harmine, have positive effects in some cell cultures used to study cancer, and in biochemical processes important in cancer treatment, both in vitro and in vivo,” and “Therefore, the few available reports of people benefiting from Ayahuasca in their cancer treatment experiences should be taken seriously, and the hypothesis presented here, fully testable by rigorous scientific experimentation, helps to understand the available cases and pave the way for new experiments.”
