First GMO Corn, Then Frankenfish, And Now – Get Ready For Designer Babies

By Janet Phelan

We knew it was coming to this. The GMO revolution wasn’t going to stop at our dinner table. But did we think it would happen so soon?

The first week in December, delegates from the top three gene-editing countries—China, the UK and the US—met in Washington, DC for a symposium on the future of gene-editing. For those not familiar with the parlance, gene editing refers to the ability to alter the DNA of an embryo in a manner which affects the germline. The germline is defined as follows; “In biology and genetics, the germline in a multicellular organism is that population of its bodily cells that are so differentiated or segregated that in the usual processes of reproduction they may pass on their genetic material to the progeny.”

In other words, what happens to the germline will affect the offspring and subsequent generations.

This Experiment Proves Why Staying In Tune With The Earth’s Pulse Is Key To Our Wellbeing

Have you ever felt disconnected from the earth? Interesting question to ponder, and while some of us feel that in some sense we become disconnected when we spend too much time indoors or on technological devices, the truth is, we don’t disconnect from the earth and its natural rhythms entirely, cause if we did, you would notice it big time.

That isn’t to say there isn’t huge benefit in being in nature, putting down your phone or even practicing some like earthing, instead, I’m saying there is a deeper connection we all have to this planet that we may not be aware of.

The law of biogenesis states that life cannot be created from nothing, it is always life that creates life. This profound statement can begin a series of questions into the scientific unknown relating to who or what created human life.

“Omne vivum ex vivo – all life is from life”

In 1952 German physicist Professor W.O. Schumann of the Technical University of Munich began attempting to answer whether or not the earth itself has a frequency — a pulse. His assumption about the existence of this frequency came from his understanding that when a sphere exists inside of another sphere there is an electrical tension that is created. Since the negatively charged earth exists inside the positively charged ionosphere, there must be tension between the two, giving the earth a specific frequency. Following his assumptions, through a series of calculations he was able to land upon a frequency he believed was the pulse of the earth. This frequency was 10hz.

Ayahuasca Can Relieve Serious Depression Faster than Antidepressants

Ayahuasca BrewAnna Hunt, Staff Writer
Waking Times

A new clinical study out of the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil has tested the effects of the ayahuasca healing brew on six volunteers suffering from serious depression. The treatment demonstrated that a mild dose of ayahuasca was able to alleviate symptoms of depression from within three hours to up to three weeks.

Neuroscientist Jaime Hallak and a group of researchers at the University examined if the psychotropic brew mixture of the vine Banisteriopsis caapi and the leaves of the shrub Psychotria viridis could treat depression. The World Health Organization estimates that about 350 million people suffer from depression worldwide, and global usage of antidepressants is rising.

Mercury sneaks into his tutor’s (Uranus’) sign, Aquarius, on January 1, and he remains in early Aquarius throughout the week due to stationing and beginning another retrograde. Mercury becomes the only retrograde planet among the ten main planets on January 5; while all ten planets will be direct in the first half of the week, Moon’s Nodes, Admetos, Hades, Kronos, and Vulcanus (Transneptunians) currently exert a retrograde influence in the transits. Still, Sun in Capricorn, and a rare phenomenon of all planets direct, signifies a steady start to the week, containing all modes of operation within normal parameters.

Let Freedom Ring

God said:

There are all kinds of systems in the world. There is the solar system, the digestive system, the Dewy Decimal system. There are management systems, operating systems, medical systems, traffic systems, dietary systems, banking systems. You are surrounded by systems. It makes sense to go along with many systems within the society you live. Not everything is fighting over or protesting.

At the same time, it is not always auspicious to go along with the crowd. It’s fine to be your own person.

You are not meant to be an automaton. You are meant to have your own space to breathe and think in.

Night sky guide for January 2016

We start the year with our planet reaching perihelion - closest point to the Sun - which will happen at 22:49 UTC on January 2. At the time, Earth will be 146.6 million km (91 million miles) from the Sun.

The first meteor shower of the year - Quadrantids - will reach the maximum rate of activity on the morning of January 4. However, some shooting stars will be visible each night from January 1 to 6. The Moon will be 24 days old at the time of peak activity, and so will present minimal interference.

The best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere - New Moon - is scheduled for the night of January 10.

Full Moon is scheduled for January 24.

  • January 2 - Earth at perihelion - 22:49 UTC.  The Earth's annual orbit around the Solar System will carry us to our closest point to the Sun, at a distance of 0.98 AU (146.6 million km / 91 million miles)...

Remember Your Positive

There will always be those that will see the negative even in a positive situation. They will dig and root around until they find a minute sliver, place it under a microscope and proclaim to the world, “Look how big it is!” Some will pay attention to this cry of dismay and darkness, however, most will not.

It is important to remember, my child, to send Love to those that dwell and thrive in darkness because, one day, they will not be able to find that sliver. Instead, they will find only light and will need your help understanding it. ~ Creator

7 of the Most Common Nutrient Deficiencies and What Can be Done About Them

Sofia Adamson, Staff
Waking Times

Many individuals are not getting enough important nutrients from their diet. For many, it is simply due to the fact their diet does not provide adequate amounts of vitamins and minerals. Even if you try to eat a whole, living foods diet, many foods these days provide fewer nutrients than one might think due to where the food is grown, the quality of the soil, how it is stored and for how long, and how it is processed. Now, consider that many people are dealing with digestive issues and other health conditions that influence their body’s ability to absorb nutrients from food, and you have a recipe for a very unhealthy population.

Because of these factors, there are many common nutrient deficiencies. Supplementation is often necessary, especially if you develop symptoms showing signs of such deficiency. Below is a list of seven of Dr. Mercola’s most popular nutrient deficiencies, and how to address them.

Congress Decides You Don’t Deserve To Know Where Your Meat Comes From

Source: www.naturalsociety.com | Original Post Date: December 22, 2015 –

The spending bill passed by Congress on Friday repealed the country-of-origin labeling (COOL) regulation that let consumers know where their meat came from.

The decision follows a ruling from the World Trade Organization (WTO) that found the labels discriminate against meat raised and slaughtered outside the United States. The WTO permitted Mexico and Canada to impose more than $1 billion in tariffs on U.S. goods in retaliation if the labels were not pulled from packages of beef and pork. The nations are the U.S.’s top agriculture partners. [1]

California Politicians Could Soon Be Forced To Wear Logos Of Top Corporate Donors

california-politicians-could-soon-be-forced-to-wear-logos-of-top-corporate-donors

Popular memes calling for politicians to wear the logos of their corporate sponsors have circulated the internet for years, but the suggestion may soon be a reality for California legislators. In the next week, a potential ballot measure, submitted to the Office of the Attorney General in October, is expected to receive title and summary for the 2016 election, meaning its advocates will be able to collect signatures in order to secure its official place on the ballot. The proposed law would require legislators and candidates to sport the emblems of groups that donate money to their campaigns.

As the advocacy group that launched the measure, California is Not for Sale, muses:

Company Sells Bottles Of Fresh Air To China And Is Struggling To Keep Up With Demand

Source: www.ecowatch.com | Original Post Date: December 19, 2015 –

Reminiscent of a scene out of Space Balls (Perri-Air anyone?), a Canadian startup, Vitality Air, is selling bottled air from the Rocky Mountains. It may have started out as a joke, but citizens of smog-choked cities in eastern China are buying it up.

“A gag gift, that’s how it started off, but you know what? There’s actually a lot of demand for this in … highly polluted countries,” co-founder Moses Lam told the Canadian National Post. The company was founded by Lam and Troy Paquette more than a year ago, but only began selling in China less than two months ago.

The idea came when Lam sold a bag of fresh Canadian air on eBay for 99 cents. That’s steep enough for something that most people have always considered free. But when a second bag bidded up to $168 “we thought ‘hey, we might have a market for this,’” Lam said.
