A non-profit organization called “Roots Up” has designed a greenhouse that collects moisture from the air, which then is used to water the plants.

This new design can help farmers in areas where the lack of proper temperature and rainfall make it difficult to grow crops.

As the designers of the greenhouse explain on heir website:

“The greenhouse traps hot air and humidity during the heat of the day, creating a better atmosphere for plant growth and then at night, a rope can be pulled that opens up a latch at the top of the greenhouse that lets cool air in, eventually reaching the dew point and creating condensation. The water droplets are channeled into a collection cistern and can be used for drinking water or for irrigation. In times of rain, the design can also be used as a rainwater collector.”

You’ve probably been told that antidepressants correct the chemical imbalance in your brain. As it turns out, that’s not quite true. In fact, antidepressants might be doing you more harm than good.

Even if antidepressants do work, the fact remains that they’re insanely expensive. Considering how depression treatments can last a lifetime, it’s impractical to spend something like $21 to $1,000 a month just to keep the blues under control. Depression is already a burden enough by itself, without all the financial consequences that come with it.

It’s better to view antidepressants as a last resort, and try some – or all – of these alternative treatments first.

1. Practice Mindfulness

Dear Ones – think of how excited you get to delight a child or someone you love with a surprise or activity. Think of how much love and joy you feel when you put the time and care into their happiness and enjoyment. Now take that exact same thoughtfulness and care and do something wonderful for yourself today, and wholeheartedly feel the the joy of the planning and the enjoyment that comes with the experience, as well.
