Saffron is an extravagant, sweet-smelling spice commonly used in Indian, Turkish, and Persian cuisine and is closely related to turmeric. Its use in traditional health approaches has spanned thousands of years, and modern research seems to back up its commonly-reported benefits.

Like most spices, saffron may be a formidable force against internal swelling (inflammation) and irritation in the body. For years, research has also linked this red grass-like spice with mood health, showing it could be a powerful tool against varying forms of depression.

Geomagnetic storm reaching G3 (Strong) levels in progress, extreme conditions possible

During the last 24 hours, solar wind parameters, measured by the ACE spacecraft, were indicative of background solar wind conditions until 07:45 UTC on August 15, when a sudden impulse occurred due to the arrival of a co-rotating interaction region (CIR) ahead of a recurrent positive polarity coronal hole high speed stream (CH HSS), SWPC reported at 12:30 UTC today.

Solar wind speeds jumped from near 350 km/s to near 500 km/s. IMF total field strength jumped from 11 nT to as high as 28 nT, while the maximum southward deflection of the Bz component was -20 nT.

Geomagnetic storm reached G1 (Minor) conditions at 11:25, G2 (Moderate) at 11:32 and G3 (Strong) at 11:43 UTC.

Additionally, a partial halo Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) produced by the solar filament eruption at 13:32 UTC on August 12 is expected to arrive early August 16. This is expected to further contribute to the already enhanced conditions.

Sitting With Pain

Some of you have trouble being able to tell when to stay still and allow things to come to you, and when to launch yourself into inspired action in order to manifest. That is the beauty of the flow, Dear Ones!

When you are in a surrendered state into the flow, there is no figuring out to be done. You know that whatever is happening is what is being energetically supported for your highest good. That means that during a lull period where not much appears to be happening, you can use the time to relax and enjoy activities you love. It also means that when it is time for action, all the signs and synchronicities will clearly point you in the right direction. Your job is not specifically to stand still or to move. It is to stay in a state of non-resistance.

Do you see? Staying surrendered in the flow takes all the guess work out of things for you, and allows you to settle into the perfection of whatever phase you may find yourself in. ~Archangel Gabriel

Day 87: How are you?

HOW ARE YOU?   Practice this little exercise on a daily basis. Stop all you are doing, take a few breaths, then notice how you are feeling. This is a good way to monitor where you are emotionally. Notice how you feel inside. Is there tension or calmness? Are you feeling antsy or at peace? Are you afraid or confident?

Whenever you notice you are feeling tense, take time to go into a deeper state of relaxation. By making this a habit, eventually you will find yourself being more at peace and centered, no matter what is occurring around you. Decision-making will be much easier.

You are likely to make better choices when you are relaxed. Your body uses many muscles and more energy when it is tense. Your whole system becomes over-stressed when tension is allowed to build up on a daily basis. Release the stress and enjoy a more fulfilling life!” Manik 9, Day 87

Life Unwinds Its Spool of Thread

God said:

Have you ever wondered if you had been born somewhere else, how different you and your life might be? What if you had been born in the Himalayas, what would you be like? What would you be doing? Or had you been born anywhere else, what would you be like? What if you were born to different parents even in your same town, even next door, what would you be like? How different might you be then? And what if you had been born at a different juncture of time? Would you be you or someone else?

When all is said and done, you were born to the parents you were born to in the land you lived in the juncture of time you are, and you are as you are, and you have the tendencies you have.

That fact that there are no accidents has to change your view. You were born or adopted right where you are supposed to be. And you are learning and developing just as you are meant to no matter how much you value your upbringing or do not value your upbringing. I suspect you value your upbringing more as you go along in life. Maybe yes, maybe no.

Of course, you held meaning for your parents as well, whether you brought sunny days or cloudy nights.

Here is what I want to tell you. It’s all right. However you are, wherever you are, whatever talents you have or don’t have, you are all right. And, regardless of how you were brought up or not brought up, you develop your talents regardless of disadvantages, and you may not develop your talents regardless of being born with a silver spoon in your mouth.

The word "mysticism" comes from a Greek word, mysterion, which means "secret ceremony". The people who have touched the unknowable gather together to share. The sharing is not verbal; it cannot be verbal. The sharing is of their being; they pour their being into each other. They dance together, they sing together, they look into each other's eyes, or they simply sit silently together.

That's what was being done with Buddha, with Krishna, with Jesus, in different ways.

The lovers of Krishna were dancing with him. That was a mysterion, a secret ceremony. If you look from the outside at what is happening you will not be able to know what is really the case. Unless you become a participant, unless you dance with Krishna, you will not know what is being shared, because that which is being shared is invisible. It is not a commodity, it cannot be transferred from one hand to another; you will not see anything happening like that. It is not objective. It is the flowing of one being into another, flowing of the presence of the Master into the disciple.

What Your Body Language Is Telling Others & How These Little Tweaks Can Change Your Life & Career

When I watched social psychologist Amy Cuddy’s Ted Talk about how our body language shapes who we are, I was moved, to say the least.

Her candid story about overcoming her insecurities and self-doubt, and the knowledge about body language that she conveyed through her personal story, have both proven to be invaluable sources of information that have stuck with me to this day, the same of which surely applies to the 27+ million people who also happened to watch the 20-minute talk.

In the video, Cuddy explains that when we make specific poses, such as holding our hands on our hips, our body responds biochemically by releasing the hormone testosterone.  Conversely, when we make a pose that sees us withered inwards or closed off, our body responds by releasing the hormone cortisol, also known as the “stress hormone.”

For instance, “making yourself big” by doing the wonder-woman pose (hands on hips) for just two minutes before a meeting changes the brain in ways that build courage, reduce anxiety, and inspire leadership. “We tested it in the lab — it really works,” Cuddy said on stage.

Today we encourage you to celebrate your accomplishments as a wonderful way of moving into greater self love. Think about all of the ways you have grown over the past 6 months, the last year, the last 5 years. Celebrate your wonderful resiliency, your consistent efforts, and your courage! Acknowledge all the ways you have loved, and cared, and made a difference. There are so many things you have done to express yourselves as the delightful beings you truly are!

We urge you to make this part of your daily practice. At the end of each day, take a moment to think of the good that you did. Perhaps it was placing a caring call to a friend who is having a hard time. It could be the smile you gave someone, or a donation you made. It could be a prayer you said, or a moment of thanks you sent to the universe. Even if the only thing you did was getting up and facing the day, it is still something to celebrate!

By adopting this practice, you are consciously beginning to love and embrace the many, many things about you that are glorious and divine. It is recognizing and honouring all the ways you are delightful and loveable, which is a beautiful act of self love and appreciation that can only support you into greater and greater expressions of self. ~Archangel Gabriel
