Relationships: Co-Creation, Unification, and Ripples In The Pond

By Melissa Joy Jonsson
Guest Writer for Wake Up World

“What we call our destiny is truly our character and that character can be altered. The knowledge that we are responsible for our actions and attitudes does not need to be discouraging, because it also means that we are free to change this destiny. One is not in bondage to the past, which has shaped our feelings, to race, inheritance, background. All this can be altered if we have the courage to examine how it formed us. We can alter the chemistry provided we have the courage to dissect the elements.” ~ Anaïs Nin

All that you experience is you in relation to — everything!

Relating is a dynamic, ever-evolving essential of relationships. Relating describes you in relation to. Relating is you in relation to universal consciousness and its infinite potential. Relating is you in relation to everything! As an extension of universal consciousness, that which you create is connected to the all and is experienced wholly in relation to you! Everything is in relationship. Everything is you in-relation, too.

“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine” – (source) Marica Angell. She is a physician and author, along with being the first woman to serve as editor-in-chief of The New England Journal of Medicine – regarded as one of the most prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals in the world.

Town Takes Matters Into Its Own Hands To Stop Oil Company From Fracking

Denton, Texas might not ring a bell immediately, but this city of just over 100,000, located north of Dallas, actually has a bit of an international reputation for being the “little city that could.” In taking a stand against overwhelming odds in a state that lives and breathes the oil and gas industry, Denton managed to ban all fracking—but their hard-fought victory was short-lived.

Governor Greg Abbott sided with industry over the health, welfare, and will of the people by scrambling to pass legislation that bans fracking bans. Denton, to him, had gone too far.

So what happened next? Almost immediately, Vantage Energy decided, in an act of hubris, to prove the industry’s clout and resume fracking in Denton last Monday.

But the people have had enough of fracking and having their legitimate concerns ignored—and a few decided to act on one of the only avenues now available—they blocked the entrance to the drilling site.

9-Year-Old Builds Tiny Homes For The Homeless Because “Everyone Deserves A Place To Live”

This kind-hearted activist is inspired to help the homeless by building them safe and mobile housing units.

We’ve featured some incredible young activists on the site before, but this nine-year-old girl from Bremerton, Washington is positively impacting the lives of many in an incredibly unique and inspiring way.

When Hailey Fort was just 5 years old, she asked her mother if they could buy a homeless man a sandwich. Not a year had passed before Hailey began growing vegetables to donate to the local food bank.

And now, at age 9, Hailey, has invested her passion of helping others into a new project: building 12 mobile sleeping shelters for homeless people in her community.

Fort told King 5 News that “It just doesn’t seem right that there are homeless people. I think everyone should have a place to live.”

Daily Message ~ Thursday June 11, 2015

Every single day you get to experience in the physical is a sacred event. What if you started each day off with that knowingness, and then surrendered your day to the beauty and highest potentials that already exist? What if you ended each day in deep, heartfelt gratitude for the unfoldment of the day? It would be like having an opening and closing ceremony for each blessed day, which would keep you in surrender, flow, and appreciation – the very energies that ensure more of the magic and wonder your earthly expression has to offer you. ~Archangel Gabriel

2983

When you are hurt or in doubt, you will often look to something or someone to ‘rescue’ you. Acts of supplication are born this way. Instead; look into your heart, listen to the voice of The Universe and let it guide you. You will not need to be ‘rescued’ because you will be saving yourself. ~ Creator

Holding Hands Reduces Pain

Researchers revealed that, at least for women, the touch or sight of a partner seems to anaesthetise them. Even a photograph of their loved one is enough to have an effect.

The discovery was made by psychologists at the University of California and "underscores the importance of social relationships and staying socially connected", they reported.

The 25 volunteers were mostly students who had been in a good relationship with their boyfriends for at least six months.

Tests revealed that if the young women were given a mild burn, they felt less discomfort by looking at photos of their boyfriends.

A similar anaesthetising effect was found if they held hands with their partners when "moderately painful heat stimuli" was applied to their forearms.

Researcher Naomi Eisenberger, an assistant professor of psychology involved in the study, said: "When the women were just looking at pictures of their partner, they actually reported less pain to the heat stimuli than when they were looking at pictures of an object or pictures of a stranger.

4 Ways To Hone Your Intuition With Ease

Intuition is our eternal life navigator in a sense. A built in system that helps us compare the wrong path from the right path. Some people already have strong intuitions. In fact, some people have better life navigators than others. This is not a problem, however. You can just as easily have the best intuition as the next guy with these 4 ways of honing your built in navigation system! The biggest advice I can give is to be open minded and flexible.

1. Meditate Whenever You Can

Meditation can easily calm you down in seconds. Learning how to tune out the mindless sounds and disruptions by clearing your mind of all formalities. Reaching into your own mind and finding peace within yourself. Breathing slowly and steadily will make you feel mentally and physically reinvigorated.

Lovers' hearts beat in sync, UC Davis study says

When modern-day crooner Trey Songz sings, “Cause girl, my heart beats for you,” in his romantic ballad, “Flatline,” his lyrics could be telling a tale that’s as much physiological as it is emotional, according to a University of California, Davis, study that found lovers’ hearts indeed beat for each other, or at least at the same rate.

Emilio Ferrer, a UC Davis psychology professor who has conducted a series of studies on couples in romantic relationships, found that couples connected to monitors measuring heart rates and respiration get their heart rate in sync, and they breathe in and out at the same intervals.

To collect the data, the researchers conducted a series of exercises, sitting 32 heterosexual couples a few feet away from each other in a quiet, calm room. The couples did not speak or touch.

“We’ve seen a lot of research that one person in a relationship can experience what the other person is experiencing emotionally, but this study shows they also share experiences at a physiological level,” Ferrer said.

The couples, in one of the exercises, were asked to sit across from each other and mimic each other, but still not speak, and researchers collected very similar results.

The researchers also mixed up the data from the couples. When the two individuals were not from the same couple, their hearts did not show synchrony, nor did their breathing closely match.

Tesla’s Missing Papers and the Technological Race of the Cold War

One of the more controversial topics involving Nikola Tesla is what became of many of his technical and scientific papers after he died in 1943. Just before his death at the height of World War II, he claimed that he had perfected his so-called “death beam.” So it was natural that the FBI and other U.S. Government agencies would be interested in any scientific ideas involving weaponry. Some were concerned that Tesla’s papers might fall into the hands of the Axis powers or the Soviets.

The morning after the inventor’s death, his nephew Sava Kosanovic´ hurried to his uncle’s room at the Hotel New Yorker. He was an up-and-coming Yugoslav official with suspected connections to the communist party in his country. By the time he arrived, Tesla’s body had already been removed, and Kosanovic´ suspected that someone had already gone through his uncle’s effects. Technical papers were missing as well as a black notebook he knew Tesla kept—a notebook with several hundred pages, some of which were marked “Government.”
