Call them the products of fear. Advertisers, like politicians, know it works. If you scare people enough, they are easily sold a bill of goods. Define a problem, even if it really isn’t a problem, then bombard the masses with the solution to the (non) problem.

In the introduction to AlterNet’s new series on the politics of fear, Don Hazen wrote, “Americans are endlessly bombarded with media messages that are fearful and deceitful. Almost daily, we are urged to fear exaggerated or fake threats… this media onslaught literally shapes how our brains work and what people believe.” These threats can be huge, like terrorism lurking around the corner, or they can be minor, like the need to protect your baby’s knees from the hazards of crawling. The common denominator is that these aren’t really such huge problems and you are being subjected to the hard sell. Selling fear makes lots of money, and America is nothing if not a place to make money.

In the near future, it may become possible to extract sensitive information from the brain with the help of invasive software or spyware.

It is not really important if you want to share this information with anyone or not because this software will force you to do it against your will.

Your thoughts will no longer be only yours.

At USENIX Security conference, scientists showed that it is really possible to “program” your mind through software to force you to reveal information that all people would prefer not to share with the world.

The Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) becomes more and more cheap and widely used. As stated in the research paper on the feasibility of side-channel attacks with brain-computer interfaces, this system analyzes brain activity and thus makes communication between a user and an external device possible. In recent decades, the BCI has been applied mainly in the medical field and was aimed at increasing the quality of life for patients suffering from severe neuromuscular disorders.

OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCES   Before you incarnate, you are given possible exit points that are determined by your Higher Self and your Review Board. The exit points are times when you may choose to leave the Earth. These exit points come at times when it is likely you will have attained the experiences or reasons you came to Earth.

Because of the state of amnesia when you enter this Realm, many take longer than anticipated to get in touch with their Higher Selves and thus wander off their chosen Path. Others may have finished what they came to do, yet choose to stay longer in order to experience other things or to continue with their chosen work.

Sometimes your Higher Self sets up scenarios in which you nearly die as a way to wake you up to get you back on track. This is why some people dedicate their lives to spiritual endeavors after having a near death experience. While they were clinically dead, they met with their Guides or Higher Selves and were shown what they needed to do to get back on their Path.

They were told they must return to Earth to complete their chosen mission. Usually, they return with fervor, consciously remembering the reason they came to Earth, having the directions and connection to keep them on track. It is imperative to get past the blocks that keep you from having direct communication with your Guides and Higher Self. Once you do, your life will amaze you.
