What to Do, When You Don’t Know What to Do…

Are you afraid to make a move because you’re unsure of the outcome? Maybe you are waiting for a guarantee before you make your next move.

I hear folks say, “I want to quit my job, but I don’t know if it will work out,” “I want to start dating again, but only if I meet my soul mate” or “I really want to travel, but I don’t have enough money.”

So many of us have goals and dreams that we want to accomplish, and we think, “If only I knew how it would work out, then I could move forward.” We don’t really know what to do because we are unsure of the outcome.

Many of us fail to act or move forward because the thought of making a wrong move feels catastrophic. Our thoughts turn negative when we perceive that our next step will put us into a permanent position we can’t get out of. Think about it. Think about a situation where you accepted a new job, or got involved with a new relationship, whether romantically or a new business venture; what were your thoughts? Most people don’t start things by focusing on the end, because we don’t want a promising situation to end. We start new relationships, new diets, new jobs, and make new friends because we want them to work out. We want them to, in essence, be permanent things, because if they work out, that means we are happy, right?

4 Things Extremely Balanced People Do Daily

When is the last time you took a vacation?

The reason we love getting away on holiday is because it’s a break from reality, a temporary pause from the everyday stresses of life. When I was working in corporate, I use to take vacations and feel so balanced. I’d wonder how I could capture that holiday glow and bring back the peace of mind I managed to embrace on vacation.

Can you relate? Do you crave more balance and peace in your life?

Balanced people seem to effortlessly glide through life. They have a natural glow and seem to take everything in gentle stride. They are the perma vacationers.

No matter how stressed out you are, you can make balance a priority. Seth Godin said, “Instead of wondering when your next vacation is, maybe you should set up a life you don’t need to escape from.”

Many Translations, One Universal Intention The Meaning of Namaste

The Meaning of Namaste

Regardless of culture, humans seem to have a universal need to greet one another upon meeting and parting. Bowing in Japan, hand-clapping variations in African countries, and saying hello and shaking hands or hugging in English cultures – are just a few of the most commonly known salutations. While customs and traditions vary, there does seem to one greeting that is becoming more popular worldwide – that of Namaste.

Simplistic Gestures of Universal Oneness

Often used by Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Sikhs, and other religions, Namaste is also revered within spiritual circles and meditation and yoga classes, and it’s being embraced far beyond its South Asian origins. You’ll often hear it spoken in combination with a slight bow and the Anjali Mudra – the placement of the hands together pulled close to the heart in a fashion similar to a prayer pose.

How to Create Solar Light Bulbs With Nothing But a Bottle and Some Bleach

The innovative mechanic has been using plastic water bottles filled with water and a splash of bleach to light up dark rooms since 2002, and now the idea has spread across the world. It is predicted that by the end of the year, over a million homes will be fitted with the invention and be lit up – without any electricity!

Moser’s method works using refraction of the sunlight. His secret is two capfuls of Bleach added to water in normal plastic bottles, which are commonly thrown away. While some may argue that Bleach is not the most environmentally friendly product, it stops the solution from turning green with algae when exposed to sunlight. From this simple combination, millions of homes may become illuminated.

By drilling a hole in a roof tile and then pushing the filled bottle in from below, the bottle can be kept in place with plastic resin and the new ‘window’ can be made waterproof.

How Mindfulness Works The Science of Good Vibrations

Achieving mindfulness through meditation has helped people maintain a healthy mind by quelling negative emotions and thoughts, such as desire, anger and anxiety, and encouraging more positive dispositions such as compassion, empathy and forgiveness. Those who have reaped the benefits of mindfulness know that it works. But how exactly does it work?

There is a measurable benefit that people could achieve through body-mind meditation, especially involving an effective training regimen.

Researchers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) have proposed a new model that shifts how we think about mindfulness. Rather than describing mindfulness as a single dimension of cognition, the researchers demonstrate that mindfulness actually involves a broad framework of complex mechanisms in the brain.

In essence, they have laid out the science behind mindfulness.

Stunning Images of a Mongolian Tribe Who Ride Reindeer and Hunt With Eagles

When one first glimpses the photos below, they’re struck with a profound sense of awe and wonder. Surely, such a tribe couldn’t exist – one that naps with reindeer and trains wolves to hunt for them, right?

Well, modern man in his limited thought might not be able to conjure such a way of living, but to the Dukha people in Mongolia, such is a well-accepted way of life.

 Hamid Sardar-Afhami

As The Plaid Zebra shares, the nomadic Dukha people of Northern Mongolia share a fascinating connection with the region’s animals and landscape. Embracing the rugged terrain, they’ve made a life herding and riding reindeer, training wolves, and teaching golden eagles to hunt for their clan.

As the photos captured by photographer and researcher Hamid Sardar-Afhami convey, they have a lot – in spirit and in health – to show for such efforts.

Why Are We Waking Up?

It seems all the craze is about how to have a spiritual awakening and the awakening movement. And it’s true, the number of awakening people are rising in mass numbers across the globe and what could be more exciting!

Yet, while all of the focus has been “its time to wake up” “it’s time to remember who you are and where you come from”. We seem to overlook an important question. Why are we waking up? There are many theories floating around about this and many explanations have been but whats what’s really going on?

1. We are destroying the earth. Obviously we can’t fight the scientific data of global warming. It’s a fact. As well as the detrimental effects of pollution in our oceans and the mass deforestation of our natural rain forests. However, should the human race carry the weight of this guilt? That, we are such horrible care takers and “its all our fault”. Shame on us? Absolutely not. You see, guilt is a powerful emotion and fear is an infectious virus. Next to fear, guilt is a number one motivator and today I am here to tell you it’s not your fault, so lose the guilt. If you think because you like/need to consume things that you are to blame for the state of the world, forget about it! Do you control the world? No, you control your world, so be conscientious and always try to give back to the earth as much as you take.

New Study Confirms You Really Can Die From a Broken Heart

When you think of having a broken heart, you may envision tears, sadness, loss and all of the feelings that go with it. However what we tend to overlook, are the cardiac consequences on our own physical hearts.

The loss of a loved one through death or break-up can be so emotionally devastating, that it can lead to broken heart syndrome. According to a new study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, this heart rhythm condition now verifies that you really can die from a broken heart, known as “stress cardiomyopathy”.

The international study is the first wide scale examination of the condition, after its original description “Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy” (named for an octopus trap that resembles the changed shape of the heart after a stressful event) was given by researchers in Japan in 1990.

Everything is a Lie: The 25 Rules of Disinformation

by Marco Torres| From pollution to politics, the era of deception and duplicity has reached new heights and hijacked almost every form of media in the world. In the last frontiers for truth such as the internet, disinformation operations are in full swing to discredit and destroy any semblance of authentic and factual information available to the public.

How many more lies will people around the world accept as truth? Some say a global awakening is taking place, but at what cost? Will it take the destruction of most of the earth and its resources before people are enlightened?

The escalating media and political reports are so far fetched, cunning, and so beyond reality, it’s as if each is trying to top the other with one sinister plot after the next.
