Whose Heart is Whose?

God said:

Everyone concedes that everyone wants love, craves love, has to have it. For some of My children on Earth, they would be glad just to be noticed, just to be seen, not even to be made a fuss over, but simply acknowledged for being on Earth and, somehow, making it through.

When you’re walking down the street, and you simply say hello to a stray person, you may have no idea of the good you do for that person and, consequently, the world. So I ask you to be kind, generous, and say hello to all that you see. Even if you acknowledge silently as one might give a grace before meals, do it for this seemingly unknown soul who passes by you.

The person you bless may not consciously be aware of your blessing, yet sometime during the day, there may be a quickening of his step or he thinks of something that is pleasant to him. Whether he notices or not, you noticed him on My behalf. You acted in My Name. You do not know how far or how deep your acknowledgement reaches.

What you can know is that it reaches, just as a breeze may pass by you, and you don’t give it a thought, so occupied are you with other thoughts.

It is such a little thing to notice someone. This isn’t a lot to ask.

We are so obsessed with the idea of the right. No wrong should ever be committed. Why not?

And the person who never commits any wrong never grows. Growth needs that you should go astray sometimes, that you should start playing around, fooling around, that you should find original things - they may be wrong; and you should come to the right by your own efforts, by your own growth; then there is intelligence.

To be simple means to be intelligent. Simplicity is intelligence, living without ideals, without guides, without maps, just living moment to moment without any security.

Our concern with the right and our fear of the wrong is nothing but our fear of the insecure. The right makes us secure, the wrong makes us insecure, but life is insecurity. There is no security anywhere.

You may have a bank balance, but the bank can go bankrupt any day. You may have the security of having a husband or a wife, but the wife can leave you any moment, she can fall in love; or the husband may die.

Life is insecure. The security is only an illusion that we create around ourselves, a cozy illusion. And because of this cozy illusion we kill our intelligence. The man who wants to live simply will have to live in insecurity, will have to accept the fact that nothing is secure and certain, that we are on an unknown journey, that nobody can be certain where we are going and nobody can be certain from where we are coming.

7 Essential Steps for Spiritual Growth

Theresa Bullard, Ph.D.|We all have an innate desire to grow and to become the very best expressions of ourselves. This is why we spend our lives learning, evolving, and striving to align with a way of life that both supports and fulfills us. To achieve this requires  that we transform from where we are now to where we want to be. Growth, progress, and even our very survival depend on us transforming our lives and our world for the better.

Today, the world is changing fast. Technology continues to advance at speeds that are increasingly difficult to keep up with. Things seem in a constant state of fluctuation. Jobs change, relationships end and new ones begin.  There may be times of financial difficulties or challenges at work. With greater connectivity, faster speed of change, and more daily pressures than ever before, we have become a society of people that are more stressed, depressed, sick, and dissatisfied in life. What happened to creating a life that supports and fulfills us?

Study on Dreams, Hypnosis and Altered States

Waking Times

You Are God: The True Teachings Of Jesus

Source: www.wakingtimes.com | Original Post Date: November 14, 2014 –

In this article we will explore how the true teachings of Jesus can be summed up by three little words: you are God. Some missionaries came to my house the other day and I was given the opportunity to come face to face with the religious mind, to discover their relationship to God, and to remember my own (non-voluntary) experience with religion.

In such a short time though it was, it was absolutely clear that the foundational flaw of religion based off of the bible as it is primarily taught today (and in general, for the past 2000 years), is that it teaches first and foremost that we are separate from this force called God. But that is a contradiction because the bible, specifically the teachings of Jesus as I will clearly illustrate, teach that you are god, and that we are all God.

How Hemp Threatens The Corporatocracy

Source: www.themindunleashed.org | Original Post Date: December 13, 2013 –

The original drafts of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were written on paper derived from it. The sails of Christopher Columbus’ ship, the Santa Maria, were made of fabric spun from it. Even early U.S. currency was printed on material extracted from it: hemp, a.k.a. cannabis, the most versatile plant in the world that, despite its significance as an early Americana, is still prohibited from being grown in most of America.

Some of our regular readers may already be familiar with the historical record of hemp, including its prominent role in American industry before the days of prohibition. But this important food and fuel crop is still largely misunderstood by millions of people. Not only is industrial hemp non-psychoactive, meaning that it cannot be smoked for mood-altering purposes in the same way as other strains of cannabis, but it also happens to be one of the most versatile plants known to man.

Why is it so Hard For us to ‘Let Go’?

What is it about the idea of letting go that seems so ‘difficult’ for us? There is some mental work in letting go of emotions, thoughts and painful experiences; but for this article I’m talking about letting go physically.

The very idea of letting go exists to show us that we are limiting ourselves. What I’m experiencing is a program of shame that was part of my life as a child.

Shame is what seems to hold us back from acting as the true, most full us. And what are we even scared to show? Our most real and vulnerable feelings?

When we know we are expressing them to people of understanding, there is no fear to be had.

How to Work Through Dark Thoughts and Negativity

Everyone has thoughts of self doubt, powerlessness and negativity – that’s completely normal.

It’s how to choose to grow from these thoughts that matters. Whenever you get overwhelmed by dark thoughts, negativity, discouragement and anxiety, there are a few ways to look inside yourself and clear that murky energy.

In moments of spiraling negativity, the first step is to always take a few deep breaths. Focus on your center, on the physical sensation of living. Bring yourself back to the present moment.

Start to take yourself out of yourself by watching your thoughts objectively.

Do not judge, label or even think about the inflow of thoughts happening, just objectively watch and acknowledge them. See them as lessons to learn not a punishment to be had.

Are You Going Faster Than the Speed of Life?

By Nanice Ellis
Contributing Writer for Wake Up World

Has stress, overwhelm or anxiety got you down?  You may be moving faster than the speed of life!

Have you ever wondered why the faster you try to get things done, the more mishaps occur? Could it be that sometimes you actually “get ahead of yourself”? And you move too fast for your own good?

There is a natural rhythm to the Universe and when we are in sync with this rhythm, life unfolds seamlessly. But when we try to force it, and rush toward a destination or goal, we actually move faster than the speed of life. Getting out of sync with life and its natural rhythm often results in a myriad of challenges and issues. So, if your life is chaotic or you are stressed out, tired, fragmented, anxious, confused or things are breaking all around you, chances are, you are moving faster than the speed of life.

Every Moment Is Crucial

Credit: Keepcalm-o-matic.co.uk

By Wes Annac, Culture of Awareness

Every moment is crucial when you’re in the midst of a personal transformation. You’ll want to observe your thoughts, emotions and actions in every moment to determine if there’s anything keeping you from being an example of true, lasting inner change, and there might be times when negativity erupts out of you, increasing your guilt and making you feel like you can’t achieve your goals.

Plenty of spiritual teachers will tell you that anger’s necessary on the enlightenment path, and true understanding comes when we’re open to everything this life has for us – the good, the bad, and whatever comes in between. Negativity seems avoidable sometimes, and while there are a precious few people who are enlightened or emotionally trained enough to never get angry, most of us will confront it at one point despite how far we are along the path.

In fact, we might occasionally fall into old habits we thought we were done with, and if we do, it’ll be a lesson that we’re never really over them. Until we’re in a much higher state of consciousness, we run the risk of falling back into them if we aren’t careful. This, among plenty of other reasons, is why constant mindfulness is helpful.

Photographer Captures Children Hypnotized By TV, Proving The Zombie Takeover Is Real

Source: www.themindunleashed.org | Original Post Date: July 4, 2015 –

Children, especially in their early years, are like sponges. Place them around an adult with a foul mouth, and they will begin mimicking their language soon enough. Set them in front of a television screen to maintain some peace and quiet in the house, and they will, undoubtedly, learn from what they are viewing and begin displaying similar behavior.

Which is why the art series titled “Idiot Box” by artist Donna Stevens is so significant and deserving of dialogue.

Stevens sought to explore the darker side of our love for technology, therefore, photographed children watching television. In the portraits, glossy eyed vacant stares are captured of children engrossed in their television program.

Media Matrix: an Ancient Tibetan Perspective on Network News

Tibetan Prayer FlagsJon Rappoport, Guest
Waking Times

“A long time ago, teachers and students in Tibet considered themselves artists of reality. They practiced inventing it. And then, separating themselves from every other spiritual system, they practiced destroying what they created. Back and forth, back and forth, with the goal of achieving an intimate knowledge of their own existence.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

(To read about Jon’s mega-collection, Exit From The Matrix, click here.)

For the early Tibetan adepts, the Void was a vital concept.

Stripped of its metaphysical baggage and embroidery, Void was the place where creating stopped. The constant “noise of existence” went away.

The ongoing parade of inner thoughts, sentiments, propensities—vanished.

Researchers Uncover Connection Between Gut Health and Mood

Gut microbiome probioticKristen Anderson, Guest
Waking Times

We have all heard the old adage “you are what you eat”, but science is discovering even more of a connection between our digestive tract and our overall health.

Commonly referred to as “gut health”, the gut microbiota, which consist of trillions of microbes, may influence more than bowel regularity and metabolism. These bacterium make up a 6-pound ecosystem inside of every human and produce hormones, communicate directly with our brain via the vagus nerve, and can even produce neurochemicals which influence behavior. Stomach bacteria and mood are connected in ways we never knew before, and scientists are racing to learn more about this fascinating discovery.
