9 Ways to Transform Challenge and Struggle Into Positive Personal Growth

HJ: If you are experiencing it, it is for your highest good. Even though it may not always seem like that in the moment, the truth is all experiences are opportunities for growth and expansion when we self-reflect instead of blaming outside circumstances or people. Because we so powerfully create our own realities, everything we experience is revealing to us what we believe and perceive and energize. So if you are creating something you don’t like, then when it shows up in your reality, recognize it, look within for what is causing it and make the change necessary to keep it from ever happening again. Truly a blessing in disguise.

Releasing With Love

Remember to breathe deeply, my love, because the work has begun!  It is not necessary for you to do anything in particular, just breathe.  If a challenging thought or emotion comes up during this changing time; recognize it, thank it for its assistance and release it with all the love in your being.  It has kept you safe and secure for quite some time and deserves that honor.  Congratulate yourself on the work well done so far…..and keep breathing. ~ Creator

Quantum Experiment Demonstrates How Consciousness Creates Reality

According to atheism-based science, there's this objective world that exists independent from our individual experiences and consciousness arose pretty much by happenstance. Of course, that's a philosophical assumption, not actual science, but it has created a bias that's so prevalent it's rarely questioned among mainstream science. Then there's that pesky quantum physics, which keeps suggesting something entirely different, that consciousness doesn't arise from reality, but that reality arises from consciousness:

The bizarre nature of reality as laid out by quantum theory has survived another test, with scientists performing a famous experiment and proving that reality does not exist until it is measured.

Physicists at The Australian National University (ANU) have conducted John Wheeler's delayed-choice thought experiment, which involves a moving object that is given the choice to act like a particle or a wave. Wheeler's experiment then asks -- at which point does the object decide?

Common sense says the object is either wave-like or particle-like, independent of how we measure it. But quantum physics predicts that whether you observe wave like behavior (interference) or particle behavior (no interference) depends only on how it is actually measured at the end of its journey. This is exactly what the ANU team found.

Are You Making These Happiness Mistakes?

Running away from hard feelings is actually constraining our abilities to experience happiness. When we evade difficult emotions, we numb joy, we numb gratitude and we numb happiness. Our natural tendency to avoid pain, in other words, could be the reason why we’re not achieving ultimate happiness. Are some of your coping mechanisms –even the small, daily habits we form– unconsciously standing in the way of your own happiness?

While integrating “happiness” habits may be a handy way to mix joy into our lives every day, they could be doing more harm than good when it comes to our overall, longterm satisfaction — and we may not even realize it. Are these the same mistakes you’re probably making that are negative to your overall happiness?

Tylenol Kills Emotions As Well As Pain, Study Reveals

By Sayer Ji
Contributing Writer for Wake Up World

For decades Tylenol has been used as a pain-killer, but new research reveals it has psychiatric side effects including dulled emotional responses to both positive and negative stimuli.

The public is beginning to understand that many over-the-counter painkillers do more than just kill pain, but sometimes kill those taking them.

For instance, A 2013 review of 754 clinical trials published in Lancet found that NSAID use was associated with roughly double the heart failure risk. Ibuprofen, in particular, has been estimated to cause thousands to die of cardiovascular events each year, and according to the lead researcher of the Lancet review, equally as dangerous for long-term users as the drug Vioxx which was estimated to cause 30,000 excess heart attacks and sudden cardiac deaths between 1999-2003 alone.

Remember The Device Designed To Clean The Worlds Oceans? It Will Be Deployed In 2016

Back in 2013, we reported on the story of 19 year old Byron Slat, who had developed a device with the capacity to remove 7,250,000 tonnes of plastic and garbage from the worlds oceans in just 5 years. Byron, now 21 and CEO of The Ocean Cleanup Project, has just announced that his project will come into fruition by 2016. The announcement was made during Asia’s largest technology conference, Seoul Digital Forum, in South Korea.

His system spans 2,000 meters, which means it will become the longest floating structure to ever be deployed into the ocean. Launching this device represents a huge milestone in The Ocean Cleanup’s mission to clean and rid the world’s oceans of plastic pollution.

Deployment off the coast of Tsushima, an island located between Japan and South Korea, is currently being researched. The device will be operational for around two years before it reaches the shores of Tsushima Island, where researchers are now looking into whether or not the plastic that is caught can be used as an alternative energy source.

Healing the World as One

Credit: Cultivatingculture.com

By Wes Annac, Culture of Awareness

Like I’ve said before, we’re all in this together and we have not only ourselves, but each other to rely on for support and guidance. I’m not just talking about the conscious community – I’m talking about all of humanity.

We are one family, and we can come together to help each other through the chaotic times that lie ahead. It’s obvious that we can’t sustain our current way of life for much longer, and the time is fast approaching for us to come together to devise solutions to our biggest societal and environmental issues.

We’re the ones who caused these problems, and now, we can find a way to right our wrongs as one people. No more division, no more borders, no more obstacles in the way of our freedom, our unity or our ability to make important world decisions collectively.

We can take our planet back from the small handful of elites who run things behind the scenes, but it’ll require us to make some sacrifices and find the willingness to accept people who are different from us.

It’s time to bring an end to division and hatred, and I don’t care if I sound like a hippie or a new-ager. It’s a simple, obvious truth, and if more people could realize it, we could start to move this planet in a different direction.

How meditation might ward off the effects of ageing

A study at a US Buddhist retreat suggests eastern relaxation techniques can protect our chromosomes from degenerating.

High in the mountains of northern Colorado, a 100-foot tall tower reaches up through the pinetops. Brightly coloured and strung with garlands, its ornate gold leaf glints in the sun. With a shape that symbolises a giant seated Buddha, this lofty stupa is intended to inspire those on the path to enlightenment.

Visitors here to the Shambhala Mountain Centre meditate in silence for up to 10 hours every day, emulating the lifestyle that monks have chosen for centuries in mountain refuges from India to Japan. But is it doing them any good? For two three-month retreats held in 2007, this haven for the eastern spiritual tradition opened its doors to western science. As attendees pondered the "four immeasurables" of love, compassion, joy and equanimity, a laboratory squeezed into the basement bristled with scientific equipment from brain and heart monitors to video cameras and centrifuges. The aim: to find out exactly what happens to people who meditate.

Costa Rica Passes Law Banning Hunting As A Sport

Source: www.the-open-mind.com | Original Post Date: May 30, 2015 –

Costa Rica on Monday became the first Latin American country to ban hunting as a sport, following an unanimous and final vote from Congress.

Lawmakers had provisionally approved a reform to its Wildlife Conservation law back in October, which will protect the country’s wildlife – including several species of native big cats. Any hunters caught breaking the new law will face jail time or hefty fines. With a population of 4.5 million people, Costa Rica is one of the world’s most biodiverse nations.

Smaller penalties for people who steal wild animals or keep them as pets were also included in the reform. Jaguars, pumas and sea turtles are among Costa Rica’s most treasured species.

5 Major Signs You May Be An Empath

An empath is an individual with the uncanny ability to understand and feel the emotions of a person to whom they are in close proximity. Being empathetic is a social ability that can be fostered through time, patience and a strong desire to be empathetic; however, there are many people who are born natural empaths and can pick up instantly on what other people are feeling.

Natural empaths are often very sensitive and quiet. They are that way because it puts them in a very zen-like emotional state that lets them absorb everything that’s going on around them. They are nature’s observers and will pick up on subtle body language hints that will clue them in to someone’s state of heart and mind.

Often, while an empath is still unaware of his or her natural empath traits and abilities, they may find themselves feeling overwhelmed, anxious and oversensitive. A sign you may be in the presence of an empath is their tendency to withdraw within themselves during conversation or to escape conversation. Empaths withdraw to find stability within when they are flooded with others’ emotional output.

God’s Will vs. Personal Will

God said:

I hear you ask Me respectfully:

“Dear God, how am I to learn Self-Reliance and, at the same time, depend upon You?

“I understand You are the Doer, yet, as I understand Your Will, we, Your children, are not to sit around doing nothing but waiting for You. Your Will is that we take responsibility for our lives, and sometimes You come to our rescue.

"This isn’t a trade, that we serve You, and You serve us, even as we ask You for Divine Intervention. We even beg, and there are times that it seems that You do not accord us our Will. It is for Your children to serve You, and yet, and yet, You also serve.

“I do not know how to represent myself and serve You. I know You want me to do well, and I want to do well. How do I represent my Will and serve You? I would like to always serve You, God.

“You have told us not to be petitioners, and that Your Will and my Will are One. Of course, I don’t quite believe that Your Will and my Will are at loggerheads. I know You want the Good Will of all Your children to be fulfilled. Our human Wills are not always self-serving, and it seems that we have a Will that sometimes is clear. We have some kind of Will in our DNA that seeks its fulfillment.

Astrology Forecast for June 2015

by Kathy Biehl

Here is the Astrology Forecast for June 2015: June sends us forward and backward with a force fit for New Year’s Eve.  Just as the signal approaches to gun our engines, at last, unfinished business comes calling with dollar signs and repercussions. Which way to go? There’s the paradox. Progress will occur, but with the weight of the past dogging us – until we turn and deal with it, once and for all.

The month begins with high energy and, likely, some of the brightest spirits we’ve enjoyed all year. Those levels promise to stay up all month.  From the Sagittarius Full Moon on the 2nd on, fire is running throughout the sky, stoking life force and enthusiasm, fueling showmanship and playfulness, and causing sparks of emotion (anger, maybe?) to flare into into acts of passion, rebellion and liberation.

Borrowed, learned from others, from scriptures, from traditions, your knowledge is never going to become your knowing. It will make you only more and more ridiculous. This is not the way of a seeker.

The seeker has to begin in absolute openness, with no conclusion this way or that. The seeker has to begin without any belief or disbelief. The seeker has to begin with great trust in his intelligence, that is true - trust in intelligence but not in any conceptions.

Your scriptures can only be in your mouth, they cannot reach your heart.
