Sharing your place in the Sun is one kind of generosity. Some of My children find sharing the limelight a squeeze on themselves. This may be insecurity displaying itself. You may like to help someone move forward, and then, when you do help, you may begin to feel as if you are being tailed. You find you are not so happy to pat the seat next to you and say from your heart: “Welcome. Sit here beside me.”

You battle yourself, feeling you don’t want someone else to have the glory you have when, to your mind, you may not see that they merit it. You may wish you could feel this, yet you don’t. You may feel that you represented yourself falsely.

Everyone is not equal to you in some way or another. Then you say to yourself: "Oh, if only I would not judge. Oh, if only I would not own. I have to wonder if I am not one of those people who has to be the Fairest of All. Is this why I feel cramped at sharing with this person?"

You may feel that this other has encroached on you. You really don’t have to be the best of all, best anything, yet you simply do not see this person and you as equal. This may be what is so hard for you, the need to present yourself as loving when you really are not, could this be?

Just think how much energy is consumed and how much waste is produced by every house on the planet. It’s all because traditional modern housing lacks sustainability and relies on public utilities and fossil fuels. However, with the growing awareness of the environmental issues, more and more people stick to ecologically friendly housing alternatives, which don’t harm the environment but also allow for off-the-grid living.

A small community in Taos, New Mexico, lives completely off the grid thanks to an amazing concept of a self-sustainable house, known as Earthship. All Earthships are based on three main ideas – sustainable architecture, green energy and the possibility to be built by someone who doesn’t have advanced construction skills. When architect Michael Reynolds came up with the concept of Earthship in the 1970s, his main goal was to develop a structure that mimics natural processes and makes most of the surrounding environment, instead of exhausting natural resources.

As world leaders gather in Paris to discuss a future free from Ecocide, researchers report the biggest mass whale death known to science.

In the most shocking case of mass animal deaths to date, 337 endangered Sei whales have been found dead in Southern Chile.

According to Chilean news agencies. the whales were discovered by scientists on November 17, but only now has the mass death been reported to the authorities (and leaked to the press). In May, in the same part of the Aysen region, biologist Vreni Haussermann discovered 30 dead Sei whales. Baffled scientists suggested at the time that the deaths might have been caused by a virus, and promised to launch an investigation.
