This interview took me through a whole range of emotions, and helped to provide language and expression to concepts that have been solidifying in my consciousness but that I had been unable to articulate. Who is Dr. Eben Alexander?

If you haven’t heard of Dr. Eben Alexander, he was a world renowned Harvard neurosurgeon who had spent 54 years as a scientist and 20+ years in academic neurosurgery when he made global headlines in 2012 after he published the book Proof of Heaven. In the book, he tells the story of his 2008 Near-Death Experience (NDE) which included a spiritual odyssey where he ascended through a number of higher dimensions until he reached the universal deity he refers to as “OM,” The Core of all creation, the infinite source of universal, unconditional love where time and space collapses upon itself.

Who are the Faeries?

Midsummer Eve, also known as Summer Solstice, is one of the traditional Celtic Spirit Nights of the year when the faeries are about in forest and field. What are faeries and do they still exist today? Many people today think of them as the tiny, gauzy-winged creatures of children’s books, but this was an idea of the Victorians. For hundreds of years, there has been a strong recognition, especially in Scotland and Ireland, of the knowledge that we share this planet with a race of non-physical beings deeply connected with the living Earth. It is to these spirits that the name ‘Fairy’ or ‘Faery’ is generally given.

Faeries can range from a tall, beautiful race of Lords and Ladies to the diminutive imps we call the ‘little people.’ One of the best explanations as to what they are comes from the unlikely source: A 17th century minister of the Church of Scotland, the Reverend Robert Kirk, defined them as being “of a middle nature betwixt Man and Angel.” They are creatures of light and energy who can shift their shapes as they please, as they are not bound by the laws of the physical world.

1. “Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.”

Basically, your greatest limitation is your mind. We worry about our self image and what others will think of us if we’re tall, if we’re fat, if we wear that outfit; but none of that really matters. All that matters is what you think.

2. “Humor is mankind’s greatest blessing. Against the assault of laughter, nothing can stand.”

In other words, lighten up. You can turn pretty much any situation into something funny, no matter how negative it is.

3. “Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured.”

Anger is pointless. Holding on to anger is even worse. If you’re angry at someone, recognize that you’re really just hurting yourself.

For what seems like a millennia there has been a sex negative conditioning that has plagued our society. While there are spiritual benefits of celibacy, there are a lot more benefits of sacred sexuality when used properly and can be referred to as “Sex Magic”.

But for the magic to happen it takes emotional and spiritual maturity. Sexual activities such as tantric sex, conscious sex, orgasmic meditation, erotic meditation and sexual healing refer to body based sensual and sexual practices that support spiritual and conscious evolution.

When we understand that our sexuality is sacred we become more equipped to clear away any emotional complexities splitting us from our spirit-sex connection. We need to adapt the understanding that sex is in service to our spirit and reclaim our innocence when enjoying this sensory experience.

(ANTIMEDIA) Honolulu, HI -- Over the holiday weekend, two Swiss pilots made history when one landed a fully solar powered plane after a five day flight from Japan to Hawaii. The plane has been travelling around the world since March of this year, flown by two pilots who take turns manning the tiny, single-occupancy aircraft. The plane’s most recent successful flight signals new possibilities for sustainable air travel and alternative energy.

The aircraft, called the Solar Impulse 2, is a product of the Solar Impulse project launched in 2002. The project focuses on highlighting the “importance of renewable energy and the spirit of innovation.” True to its goal, the plane uses zero fossil fuel. Instead, it cultivates energy through 17,000 solar cells that power the plane’s propellers and charge its batteries.
