Exploiting the World's Indigenous People Is a Violent, For-Profit Enterprise

by Elika Ansari, Underground Reporter

(UR) Southeast Asia — August 9th, 2016 marked the 12th International Day of the World’s Indigenous People — a day pronounced by the U.N. to promote the rights of the indigenous peoples of the world, while also celebrating their contributions to environmental protection.

Meanwhile over a hundred indigenous men and women garbed in traditional dress marched in Baguio city, Philippines, in protest of the dangers they continue to face, including through extrajudicial killings and illicit land grabs by corporate and governmental forces.

Daily Message ~ Monday August 22, 2016

There was a time when you would define yourself by comparing yourself to what others were doing, which usually involved making yourself, or others wrong. As you evolve, you are starting to understand that there really isn’t right or wrong, there is merely experience, and choosing what is right for your own individual life expression.

When you start to make choices based on what feels right at the core of your being – what matches your own divine spark and soul agenda – you give yourself the freedom your soul has always craved to express yourself in your own glorious and unique way. You see yourself as the master of your own path, and also see the mastery in others, even if they are choosing something different than what would be right for you.

It is this shift from an external to an internal guidance system that will foster acceptance and freedom for all. It will encourage each soul to acknowledge and trust their own mastery and the mastery of others, to shine and embrace their own preferences, which adds immeasurably to the beautiful mosaic of the whole. ~Archangel Gabriel

You can see it: the more comfortable a society, the more luxurious, affluent a culture, the more people go mad. The more poor a society - starving, hungry - the less people go mad. Madness needs, in the first place, a mind. But a hungry person has no nourishment for the mind. He is undernourished: his mind is not in a situation to go nuts. For that the mind needs more energy than ordinarily is involved in life.

Madness is a rich man's disease. The poor man cannot afford it.

One Of The Worst Pharmaceutical Disasters In History Is Still Relevant Today

by Lisa Bloomquist, Collective Evolution

One of the worst drug disasters in history is unfolding right before our eyes.

DES (diethylstilbestrol) is a synthetic estrogen that was given to pregnant women from 1940 through the early 1970s. DES was touted as a “wonder drug” that would prevent miscarriage and morning sickness. It was only after millions of women and fetuses were exposed to DES that it was recognized that DES was causing deadly cancers in both the women who took it and the children exposed to it in-utero. According to the website for Wonder Drug, a feature film about DES (that is currently in development):

The currently proven effects of exposure include a rare vaginal cancer in DES Daughters; greater risk for breast cancer in DES Mothers; possible risk for testicular cancer in DES Sons; abnormal reproductive organs; infertility; high-risk pregnancies; and an increased risk for breast cancer in DES Daughters after age 40. There are a number of other suspected effects, including auto-immune disorders, but many of these effects are still awaiting further research.

Study: Women Who Surround Themselves With Nature Live Longer

by Amanda Froelich, True Activist

Women who live in areas with prevalent greenery have a 12% lower overall mortality rate than women who live in polluted, urban environments.

Researchers have already confirmed that spending time in nature reduces stress and that living near trees is beneficial for your health and wallet. Now, a new study concludes that women who surround themselves with vegetation are likely to live longer lives.

The study, published in Environmental Health Perspectives, was conducted by researchers from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Data from 108,630 women enrolled in the Nurses’ Health Study across the U.S. between the years of 2000 and 2008 helped the researchers determine if living near vegetation affects a woman’s health.

The team relied on satellite imagery from different seasons and various years to calculate the amount of greenery present at each woman’s home.

If you are looking to change your life in a very empowering way, we suggest you write down all of your self-limiting beliefs and I am statements – the chatter that automatically goes on in your mind that always contains some kind of reason why you can’t evolve beyond what is unwanted or how you trick yourself into believing you are somehow not good enough. Leave a space after every statement that comes to you.

Then, examine every statement and ask yourself, Is this true? Is this really what I wish to create? What would be a better feeling statement? What is a new declaration I can make? If the statement is something hurtful someone else said to you, ask Is this true? Does this person even know the real me? Are they qualified to judge or speak about my path and my truth? Are they an example of what I aspire to be? (Hint: if someone is judging you they are automatically not operating at a level that is able to see you in your truth. If they were, they would only offer love and acceptance and see you as the perfect and divine being you are.)

The death penalty is exactly the same law: An eye for an eye. If a man is thought to have murdered somebody, then he should be murdered. But it is strange: if killing somebody is a crime, then how can you remove crime from society by committing the same crime again? There was one man murdered; now there are two men murdered. And it is not certain that this man murdered that man, because to prove a murder is not an easy thing.

If murder is wrong, then whether it is committed by the man or by the society and its court, makes no difference.

Killing certainly is a crime.

The death penalty is a crime committed by the society against a single individual, who is helpless.

I cannot call it a penalty, it is a crime.

A New Light on Life

God said:

Have you perhaps been bemoaning your life? Have you chosen to complain about Life rather than to move on with it?

Beloveds, if you give thanks for Life every day when you awaken in the morning and every night when you go to bed, how might your Life take on a new light?

Agreed, Life on Earth is not always a walk in the park. Agreed, Life on Earth is not always what you would like or expect, yet Life is Life, and there is more to Life and your Life than meets the eye.

Beloveds, whatever you do, do not feel sorry for yourself. What an indictment self-pity is. Feel sorry for yourself, and you sentence yourself to unhappiness. What a lazy thing to do. In lieu of self-pity, get on your horse and sally forth.

Think in the direction of what you could be glad for. If not glad, think in the direction of what of Life you can be even a little grateful for. It is not for you to poke holes at your Life.

Pause in the midst of complaint to give credit for the Gift of Life. "Hey, God, thanks for this Life You gave me." Beloveds, receive in good grace what you have been given.

Whatever you have been given or whatever you have not been given, there is great opportunity before you. You are alive for far greater than just hanging around and finding fault. What is the corollary of finding fault but lack of gratitude? No longer devalue your God-given Life. Perhaps now is the time to think of Life as a gift given to you, seemingly out of the blue.
