Sifting Through the Debris

by Zen Gardner

I’m asking “where to now” in many contexts as this all transpires. Not just my own life that has been seriously derailed from its previous direction and that of my children now being put through this renewed societal abuse syndrome, but of the so-called truth community in general. That such vicious and unconscious reactive outbursts could be triggered by anyone telling their personal awakening story, no matter how sordid their past may appear and all the innuendo and assumptions that transpire, is remarkable to behold.

Yet the irony continues. People are examining the rubble of my past and insisting I’m still a part of that. Better yet, I’m a rocket ship that attained escape velocity out of the abusive matrix and jettisoned my earlier stages of my propelling device that crashed back down to earth. And people are fixated on that and totally forget about the rocket that used that as fuel, and all from a comfortable armchair of viewership.

What Memo?!

You have made plans for your life, you know which direction you are moving, you do your best to stay happy and treat your sacred vessel accordingly but, sometimes, The Universe has other plans.  Prior to your arrival, you and I had a conversation.  There were certain things you asked to experience, but some of you may have ‘misplaced the memo’. (Smiling)
Because of this, you may feel as if you are being punished…..I do not do that.
You may feel I do not hear you or you are being ignored….I do not do that either.
Your experiences and your journey are just that, yours.  It is a co-operative effort between your soul and The Universe.  Keep the lines of communication open and, even if it was not what you were intending for yourself, remember that you are always learning. ~ Creator

Daily Message ~ Saturday August 20, 2016

Dear Ones, your evolution process is about finding your way into greater balance. Balance in your relationships with others. Balance with your relationship with yourself. Balance by embracing both your human and spiritual sides. And balance with your service so that your efforts empower and uplift everyone involved. ~Archangel Gabriel

A strange thing all over the world is that unless you are proved innocent, you are guilty. This goes against all humanitarian ideals, democracy, freedom, respect for individuality; it goes against all.

The rule should be: unless you are proved guilty you are innocent. Yes, it is said in words, but in reality the case is just the opposite.

In Eternity, There Is No Sequence

God said:

Did you grow up hearing dutiful refrains running through your ears, such as:

"First eat your vegetables. Then, after, have your dessert. Not before."

"Get your work done first. Then you can go out and play."

"Frivolity is frivolous. Idle hands get you into trouble."

"Hold on to your money. Don't waste your time nor money on foolishness."

Did you grow up with the idea that joy best comes later? Did you grow up with the idea that joy of all kinds is to be denied you until a vague later time yet to be announced? When exactly you don't know. Just later some time. And so your joy has been pinched, and you may still restrict joy until some day, and some day may never come.

My children are not meant to be in harness and trudge along heavy-footed. Be light of heart and light of foot. May joy be your password into work or play. Why not?

It's possible that children have the right idea. Joy first. Joy is a forerunner to everything. Restricting yourself may take away joy and sadden your dreams.

Instruct yourself in the idea that joy is your winning number. Deferring joy is not a virtue.

The difficulty with being heavy-handed about life is that you get stuck in seriousness. Sometimes it seems that you believe too much in the concept that, before you can have joy, you have to suffer. The idea has been expressed that you must suffer before you can be beautiful.

28,000 Person Study Has Revealed What People Do When They Are Happiest

by Mark DeNicola, Collective Evolution

The pursuit of happiness: To some of us, it is life’s greatest purpose, while to others, it is merely a cliché sentiment best reserved for motivational posters and cheesy internet memes.

In either case, happiness is certainly something that we all strive for in this world, and amazingly all seem to find in different places.

As part of an ongoing analysis to better understand human behaviour, a team of researchers tracked the realtime moods and activities of over 28,000 European people for an average of 27 days each. The goal? To identify whether or not we as humans are in fact guided by what psychologists call the hedonic principle, which is the making of choices based on either minimizing its negative or maximizing its positive impact on us.

The Study

The massive study, published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, was conducted through a multi-platform smartphone application that would ask users to regularly rate their mood (on a scale from 1 to 10) as well as log what they were doing at the time.

Standing Up For Your Beliefs In Group Opposition Is What Changes Your World

by Josh Richardson, Prevent Disease

A new University at Buffalo study that assessed bodily responses suggests that standing up for your beliefs, expressing your opinions and demonstrating your core values can be a positive psychological experience.

Our happiness, and ultimately our lives, are defined by the choices we make. When we allow other people to tell us how to feel, they are making those choices for us, and we are giving away our truth. Since all truths are true, we must define if it is our ego we are standing up for or something more.

There can be a clear divergence between what people do and say and how they feel, according to Mark Seery, an associate professor in the Department of Psychology.

"People can show conformity, but going along with the group doesn't mean they're going along happily," he says. "The external behavior isn't necessarily a good indication of their internal experience."

5 Pioneering Scientists Who Were Spiritual Mystics

by Maseeh Ghani, Collective Evolution

To excel in science and academia and become a person of significance in those areas requires thorough knowledge of the subject you’re studying. Indeed, being knowledgeable, analytical, and clever are some of the major criteria required to be considered intelligent in our highly detail-oriented and rigorous educational system.

But taking a closer look at what actually drives the success of our most revered minds tells a surprisingly different story.

Here is a list of five of the greatest scientific achievers of our time, who have contributed the most to humanity. While they may fit the above criteria for intelligence, they were also intensely spiritual people.

1. Albert Einstein

Considered by Western society to be one of the smartest men who ever lived, Einstein was a physicist who spent his entire career trying to understand the laws of the universe, eventually making major scientific breakthroughs which have shaped our world ever since. But what our history and science textbooks don’t tell us is that he owes his scientific achievements to things decidedly unscientific.

7 Powerful Ancient Practices For Daily Rejuvenation

by Amanda Monteiro, Collective Evolution

To say I’m not a morning person would be a gross understatement, but it hardly feels like the choice has been my own. Each night I routinely beg my consciousness to wake me up at 7:30am every morning with “ample amounts of energy,” only to find myself struggling to rise the next day, rolling over and continuously pressing snooze on my physical and mental alarm.

Simply put, I struggle. A lot.

I firmly believe that once you have your morning routine down, the rest of your day is bound to be full of productivity and optimism.

One piece of information I’ve always been privy to and will never forget is the benefit of waking up 2 hours before you have to leave the house. This is a common habit ‘successful’ people have adopted. Doing this ensures you have some ‘me’ time, especially if you have a family where your evenings are occupied playing catch-up with your children and/or spouse.

The moment you put the needs of others above your own most basic ones is the moment you enter into the game of catch-up with yourself. Avoid putting yourself on the back burner, because the lower we put ourselves on our list, the less effective we are, and that includes in our efforts to help those around us. Taking time for yourself is vital to the stability of your mind.
