US Government Green Lights Experiments to Reanimate the Brain Dead

It sounds like the logline from the recent sci-fi horror movie, The Lazarus Effect. But the story coming out of Bioquark Inc. is real. The biotechnology company is moving ahead with a groundbreaking experiment to reanimate the nervous systems of 20 clinically brain-dead patients.

With approval from the Institutional Review Board at the United States National Institutes of Health in the U.S., the ReAnima Project will begin recruiting patients who are all but clinically dead due to traumatic brain injury. With cooperation from their families, these patients will be kept alive by machines and administered a series of procedures meant to kickstart cellular regeneration.

CEO, Dr. Ira Pastor, hopes to prove the cells of human brains are as adaptable as those of salamanders, which can regrow limbs.

Researchers Accidentally Created Batteries That Could Last 400 Times Longer In Devices

It’s a common assumption that if an accident happens in the lab, you can expect some hairy outcomes and serious consequences, but a recently unplanned event has resulted in a seemingly positive discovery. Chemists have now come across a system that is capable of making batteries last up to 400 times longer than even the best-performing options on the market today.

This new battery, which, instead of lithium, stores electricity in gold nanowires, would still need to be recharged, but would allow consumers to utilize them efficiently for over 200,000 charge cycles. To put this phenomenon into perspective, that’s about a lifetime use for products like phones, computers, cars, and spacecraft, too.

So what’s the problem?

The Chariot of Life

Life appears in instants like the shutter of a camera. Click, click. The light of life has the appearance of movement. Light seems to flicker. Because of light, the same hillside changes according to the cycle of the Sun.

According to the world, there are accurate measurements of a hillside that are made. Regardless of accurate measurements touted, life itself is not exactly like a hillside that you can survey. The angles you look from in life do not carry such precision. Life is more free-form.

As the Sun moves, so does life. You can peek; you can surmise; you can reflect, yet the surface of life does not stay still, not even for one moment. There are no still-life paintings in life. There is movement. Sunlight and shadows move. The stillness stays hidden. Candlelight shimmers. At its basis, life itself is stillness.

It has been said that no man can step into the same river twice. So is the world of Earth that you move and live in.

And, so, life on Earth is mobile whereas Truth is that which stays still. Truth is immobile. Truth is everlasting. Truth is Stillness captured, as it were.

There is no life without Love Beyond Measure. Love in the world jumps around. Love in the world too often appears like jello. It shimmies, and it shakes. It travels round and round.

The Disastrous 2016 Election Has Triggered a Third Party Revolution

While tumultuous, chaotic, contentious, outrageous, erratic, fraudulent, random, disheartening, and certainly unpredictable, could simultaneously describe this presidential election cycle, perhaps the most unanticipated development surrounds the categorical shunning of the soured, traditional duopoly — despite its previously adamantine grip on American politics.

This year, constant evidence substantiates the people’s collective scream: Enough!

In particular, once Ted Cruz and John Kasich abruptly halted their bids for the nomination this week — sending shockwaves across the already tempestuous election climate — the country’s umbrage against the establishment gained momentum. Again. Third parties and alternative candidates — and not just anti-establishment candidates conniving the system by running on one of the duopoly’s tickets — began blowing up the previously gaining trend in popularity.
