We are entering a New Moon phase in the sign of Taurus on May 6th/7th, which is the beginning of the 29.5 day moon cycle. In astrological practice, we view New Moons as a new wave of energy, as the Sun and Moon meet at the exact same point in the zodiac.
New Moons aren’t significant new beginnings such as Solar Eclipses (which happen biannually), but nonetheless they represent opportunities for new ways of expressing the energies of the different signs of the zodiac. It is important to note that the movements of both the farther and retrograde planets, along with Solar and Lunar Eclipses, signify the longer term ‘backdrop’ of what is happening in our lives.
This New Moon is occurring while Mercury is retrograde in the same sign, which really emphasizes the new ways of how we are working with the energies of Taurus.

Beloved Children, must you always be where you want to be? Sure, you want to be where you want when you want.
Other times you simply may not know where you want to be. You may well know where you don't want to be. Your present life may not be at all what you want it to be.
Now, it's good that you have work to go to even when you would rather be somewhere else. Not every job is a plum or your cup of tea. At the same time, it is better to have a workplace to go to rather than to have no work at all.
Freedom is good. Structure is also good. Structure has its merit. Within structure, there is also freedom in how you deal with structure.
Of course, it would be fine if you – and everyone -- had a workplace that suited you to a T. Only you don't always know what suits you, or it may be that no place suits you.
Fortunate are the ones who have work that is greater than putting in time and waiting to punch a time clock when your shift is over.
It may be better to go to school than not to go to school, even when school is not perfect. Of course, every school student wants to be appreciated, most especially when he is not.
Of course, there is compromise in life, and there is overwhelming compromise that seems to cut your soul in two. A median place may not fill your heart to the degree you deserve and desire.

If you start to put your time and focus on what is energetically supported at any given time, you will find yourselves far more comfortable and efficient. That is what inspiration is – the nudge that the energetic flow is fully supporting something.
When you force yourself to do something because you think you should, the greater the amount of effort it takes you to do it, is the level of how energetically unsupported that activity is. This does not mean that it won’t get done, it simply means that choosing to do it right now is choosing to do it without the optimal support of the universe. It is choosing a path that is far more difficult rather than having the patience to wait for the energy that will support it.
Think of surfers. They sit out in the water patiently waiting for the perfect wave to ride. They are poised to move when the optimal opportunity presents itself. They can choose whichever wave they want, but with experience and wisdom they can recognize which wave can give them the whole experience they desire with the greatest amount of joy and support. They also accept if the water is too still or too stormy that it’s not a great day for surfing at all, and shift into a different activity. They willingly move with what is supported.
Behold the beauty of your Earth plane existence! Yes, there will be bumps and bruises, scrapes and falls. But, through it all, there are moments of wonder and awe and excitement as well as peace and joy because you are here doing what you are doing, learning what you are learning and growing at a quantum rate. From the Universal perspective there is nothing more beautiful than you!
