Your life is not an accident. To whom you are born is not an accident. If you were given up for adoption, it’s not an accident. No matter the occurrences in your life, no matter what, this is your life presented to you, and it is yours to do with.

You are more important than your life. You are more important than what transpires. You are more important than the people you meet. You are never alone in life, and yet it is your life. It is your life to make the most of.

You may not love all the cards dealt you. Still, this is your life to determine from here on in.

From whence did the idea come that life on Earth is to be full of stress and strain? Who says that life on Earth must include suffering? Must what seems like suffering have to be suffering?

When flowers fade in the garden, you take it as a matter of course. You do not weep for flowers that go to ground for the winter only to rise again in spring. And, yet, when your friends and family go to ground in what is called death, it is a given in the world that you will mourn, your heart will ache. It feels as if a dirty trick has been perpetuated on you. You insist that your loved one’s body is to live forever when, all the while, your loved ones’ souls never cease.

What is so wrong for a loved one of yours to take a rest, to be renewed, to be off center-stage?

What is the topic of this Heavenletter today? Of all that I could be saying to you, what makes Me choose this topic today and that topic yesterday?

I want to tell you that it doesn’t matter. What matters is that We sit down together. We can even talk about the weather. We can talk about your day. We can talk about what makes you happy. We can talk about any number of things.

What does it matter what We talk about? What matters is that We talk. We engage. We interchange love. That’s what We’re doing. We’re doing it right now. How much does it matter what We say? It matters that We say. It matters that We look into each other’s eyes, and, perhaps, you, if I may say you, even though there is truly only One of Us, look into your own eyes.

Give Me an idea of what words you would most like to hear. More than like to hear, I mean what subject might be most meaningful to you to hear today? What are you most eager to hear? Perhaps you are ready to hear more about the truth of you even beyond the wondrousness I tell you that you are.

It is easy for Me to go on expressing My joy in you, yet it may be that you are craving something more. Perhaps you want greater understanding, perhaps of the meaning of life.

If you had only half a second of Earth time to jot down something to Me, you wouldn’t spend illusory time thinking about what you would write. You would simply write! And you might be surprised at what you write! Something would come from you. It would not have to be a complete sentence. It could be anything it wanted to be. I say IT wanted to be -- the writing wanted to be -- not what you might have decided to make of it. The writing would come.
