Autistic Boy Gains Ability To Speak After Just 2 Days Of Cannabis Oil Treatment

At 10 months of age, Kalel Santiago of Puerto Rico was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called neuroblastoma. He endured chemotherapy, radiation treatments, and surgery for two yearsand survived.

Then he was diagnosed with something permanent: severe autism that disabled him from speaking.

“While he was in the hospital, we noticed he didn’t speak at all and had some behavior that wasn’t right, like hand flapping, and walking on his toes,” his father Abiel Gomez Santiago told Yahoo News. “But we waited until he was 3 and cancer-free to look at his behavior.”

According to Yahoo,

“He and his wife Gladys — also parents to two older boys, now 18 and 20 — did a cram course in educating themselves on autism. They tried various schools and therapies and eventually found impressive success with a unique surf-therapy school near their home.”

Eventually, the Santiago family stumbled upon a treatment of real potency and potential: CBD oil.

Algae Lamps That Can Be Food Too! (Video)

feature_image_te774mplate

I’ve heard of edible underwear, but edible light bulbs? Living Things is a project that focuses on the use of spurilina, an algae that’s capable of creating light as well as a healthy snack. Architectural designer Jacob Douenias and industrial designer Ethan Frier states. “These living structures recycle light, heat, and carbon dioxide from buildings and their inhabitants into rich green biomass which can be consumed as sustenance, used as agricultural fertilizer, or converted to biofuel.”

Day 36: Heart Connections, Cib 10

HEART CONNECTIONS  To make a heart connection, it is imperative that you focus your attention on the person, animal or plant that you wish to connect with. In your heart, well up feelings of love. This is best achieved by feeling gratitude for all the blessings in your life. Focus on the other and be grateful for the opportunity to be with this Be-ing.

Look beyond their physical body and attempt to see them as they truly are, a reflection of God, pure Love. Look into their eyes. Gratitude and eye contact will create much more depth. Consciously send them a wave of love and appreciation. No words need to be spoken; the other need not know what you are doing. Even if the other has no idea what you are doing, there will be an energy exchange that will be felt by both of you.

If the receiver is open, he will feel a sense of calm and will be more relaxed in your presence. You will be able to sense the receiver’s response, even if he/she does not consciously return your love. You can do the heart connection anywhere, at anytime, even when you are not near the one you wish to connect with. Smile and send a conscious burst of love to people you pass on the street: the grocery clerk, the gas station attendant, pets, wild animals and the roses in your neighbor’s yard.

Neurotheology Team Proves “God Helmet” Is Real, Eliciting Mystic States, Visions & God-Like Presence

A team of neurotheology researchers have replicated and confirmed the results of the iconic “God Helmet” experiment. The apparatus, originally developed by renowned neuroscientists, Stanley Koren and Michael Persinger, generates weak magnetic fields around the test subject’s temporal lobes, and elicits a distinct set of experiential phenomena in the participant’s brain, including: altered mystic states, visions of God, and the feeling of a sensed God-like presence. This new independent study confirms that the effects from the God Helmet experiment are not due to suggestion or suggestibility in subjects, and provide the first scientific verification of the technique’s direct influence on the brain. 80% had feelings of a “sensed presence”, and the other 20% had either minor effects or none.

Leading Journals Agree That Big Pharma Manipulates Medical Research

Medical Fraud

Alex Pietrowski, Staff Writer
Waking Times

Corruption in the medical industry can no longer be ignored. There’s no doubt that much of what is told to the masses, including medical schools and physicians, is simply untrue. Even Dr. Richard Horton, editor of the world’s most respected medical journal, The Lancet, agrees:

“Much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue. Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness.”

Love Finds a Way

God said:

Love is not an action. Love may be expressed through action, yet love is not something you do. Love is an impetus toward action. Love is reaching out. Love is wanting to connect to another aspect of yourself. Love is not a concrete thing. It is an essence. Essence desires expression.

A new toy may make you feel love, both the giving and receiving of a new toy. A new toy may move your heart and touch you and open your heart. In any case, you are glad and grateful for a new toy. In addition to the new toy is the love that accompanies the new toy.

Then there are new refrigerators and books and cars and even supercharged inventions, yet what you hold in your hand or sit on or a new refrigerator you find food in is not love. After a while, the new toy becomes an established gift, and it loses its shine. It becomes an object which it always was. The unseen that accompanies the toy is love. A great wave of energy passes love to and fro.

Poets can’t write about love enough. How many poems have been written about love, and still more being written? Poetry and love are exquisite. Every experience in life has its reference point in love. Even a verse that reflects the sterility of love’s leaving is love. Then that is called love lost and may leave you forlorn.

Once Joshu was asked about the "holy" person, the "purified" person. He responded, "There is no room in my place for such a rascal! Why should one be purer than one originally is? And moreover there is no one to be pure or impure inside."

Then he was asked, "Who is Joshu?"

He said, "A rustic." And that is what he happened to be - a Chinese peasant.

And then he was asked, "Then who is the Buddha?"

He laughed and pointed to the field and said, "The man leading his oxen, it is He."

You are divine, you are Buddhas. You have forgotten about it, that's all. It has to be remembered. All that is needed is remembering. Nothing has to be achieved - you are it already. Truth is your very being, so it has not to be achieved. You have fallen in a kind of sleep. Awake, and you will know it; and you will not know it as an object, you will know it as your very subjectivity.

Soren Kierkegaard says, "Truth is subjectivity. " He is right. Truth is your innermost core.

And that is the only principle of the Sufis: Only truth is, or, Only God is.

And how to practise it? Then too there is only one single practise, zikr - remember.

Come out of your sleep. Remember.

Gardasil Firestorm in Denmark

Norma Erickson, SaneVax,
Waking Times

In March 2015, a Danish national television station (TV2) aired a documentary focusing on girls who suspected they had been injured by the HPV vaccine Gardasil. Immediately after the airing of the show, girls with similar experiences started coming out of the woodwork. Virtually all of the girls had the same story to tell.

They began to have serious new medical conditions shortly after using Gardasil so they would go to the doctor. According to Luise Juellund, the vast majority of doctors would tell them the HPV vaccine has no serious side effects and offer psychological problems as an alternative reason for the new symptoms.

The Powerful Project That Will Transform The Lives Of Poor Children By Teaching Them Photography

In Recife, Brazil 35% of the population lives in poverty, a staggering number that becomes even more heartbreaking when you discover that a large number of these individuals are children.

We’ve all seen and have been approached by countless groups and organizations aimed at eradicating poverty through our financial contributions. These donations are usually transformed into necessary resources, which of course are helpful, but given that the issues continue to persist, seem unable to get to the core of the issue.

Earlier this year we launched a campaign through Charity Water which successfully raised over $4,500 to help build a water infrastructure that truly gets to the heart of a major issue. I’m happy to share with you another campaign that I believe is taking a very powerful and unique approach to eradicating poverty.

Rather than simply providing aid, the group behind Eyes Of The Street is choosing to empower the impoverished youth of the world by teaching them photography. You can find out all the details to their campaign and project in this video:

Chinese Woman Pays $1,100 To Save 100 Dogs From Chinese Dog-Eating Festival

Every year the southern city of China, Yulin celebrates the summer solstice with a festival that involves the slaughter and consumption of as many as 10,000 dogs.  Many petitions have failed in the past but thanks to people taking real action, 100 dogs have been saved by a 65-year-old retired teacher.  Her name is Yang Xiaoyun and she runs an animal shelter in Tianjin and had to travel more than 2,400km (1,500 miles) and spent more than $1,100 to save 100 dogs.

Not everyone in China supports such practices and hopefully more people will get involved to put an end to the madness.

Many argue that there is no difference in the western culture slaughtering farm animals such as cows, but a group of activists in China have accused the festival organizers of ‘unnecessary’ cruelty and torture.  There is no argument that animals all over the world are being tortured, but it is heartbreaking to see what these dogs have to go through.

Happiness: Right Here, Right Now

By Wes Annac, Culture of Awareness

I have an exercise we can try at random times throughout the day.

No matter what we’re doing, let’s stop, look around, and give thanks for our existence. Even if our day’s stressful and we just can’t seem to catch a break, let’s be grateful for something. Let’s find something to appreciate, because it could bring down our stress level and encourage us to get back out there with more strength.

Most people are too rushed to stop and appreciate life, but if we could understand the significance of this moment, we’d see that it holds all of the happiness we need. We can find a banquet of happiness and contentment simply by enjoying the Now, and if we’re willing to quiet the mind, we can even tap into the intuition and learn a thing or two about life.

We don’t even have to do anything. We just need to be, and we’ll notice a positive change when we give ourselves more time to relax, meditate and just exist. We’ll learn that we can enjoy life regardless of our circumstances, and we don’t have to seek happiness in external things. We can be unconditionally happy, but we have to empty out our physical desires and learn to be content with this moment, no matter what it has in store.

Nonconformity And Freethinking Now Considered Mental Illnesses

Source: www.themindunleashed.org | Original Post Date: November 16, 2013 –

nonconformity-and-freethinking-now-considered-mental-illnesses

Is nonconformity and freethinking a mental illness? According to the newest addition of the DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders), it certainly is. The manual identifies a new mental illness called “oppositional defiant disorder” or ODD. Defined as an “ongoing pattern of disobedient, hostile and defiant behavior,” symptoms include questioning authority, negativity, defiance, argumentativeness, and being easily annoyed.

The DSM-IV is the manual used by psychiatrists to diagnose mental illnesses and, with each new edition, there are scores of new mental illnesses. Are we becoming sicker? Is it getting harder to be mentally healthy? Authors of the DSM-IV say that it’s because they’re better able to identify these illnesses today. Critics charge that it’s because they have too much time on their hands.

Iceland Recovering Fastest In Europe After Jailing Bankers Instead Of Bailing Them Out

After Iceland suffered a heavy hit in the 2008-2009 financial crisis, which famously resulted in convictions and jail terms for a number of top banking executives, the IMF now says the country has managed to achieve economic recovery—“without compromising its welfare model,” which includes universal healthcare and education. In fact, Iceland is on track to become the first European country that suffered in the financial meltdown to “surpass its pre-crisis peak of economic output”—essentially proving to the U.S. that bailing out “too big to fail” banks wasn’t the way to go.

Iceland is beautifully, yet unfortunately, unique in how it chose to handle the disaster. It simply let the banks fail, which resulted in defaults totaling $85 billion—lending ample justification for the prosecution and conviction of bank executives for various fraud-related charges. The decision seemed shocking at the time, but the gamble has obviously paid off. Choosing a different route, the U.S. bailed out the banks and let executives off the hook by levying fines that ultimately ended up being paid by the corporations—meaning the executives ostensibly responsible for the mess got off scot-free.

5 Attachments to Release on the Path of Enlightenment

By Wes Annac
Guest Writer for Wake Up World

You probably don’t need me to tell you that spirituality isn’t all about feeling positive or uplifted. The enlightenment path requires us to sacrifice things that hold us back and keep us from making spiritual progress, and maybe this is where the literal notion of religious sacrifice first originated; from the external and even internal sacrifices we have to make on the enlightenment path.

Why do we have to make sacrifices on the spiritual path? Because there are a lot of things here on Earth that stop us from making genuine progress toward enlightenment, so we are best to release or avoid these things if we want to elevate our consciousness and contribute to the awakening of others.

The purpose of self-sacrifice isn’t to boss ourselves around or give up things we cherish, unless they cause serious damage – it’s to detach from things that are destructive or which hold us back, so we can make room for more wholesome elements in our life, that accelerate our evolution.
