The art of compromise means finding a middle ground that satisfies both parties. It is not continually denying yourself or consistently giving your power away in order to get along or not rock the boat. If you make a habit of ignoring your own needs, it will always lead to resentment, which will slowly but surely erode your relationships.

Before you agree to anything, take a moment to check in with yourself. Are you just agreeing to avoid conflict? How do you really feel? Are you angry inside? Does this choice honour you and what you would really like to do?

Channeling (or intuitive communication) can be easier than a lot of seekers have made it out to be, and the same can be said with any creative act you enjoy or you feel like you should embrace and use to advance humanity’s evolution.

These things don’t have to be as difficult as many of you have let them be, and for the most part, all it takes is an active interest and enthusiasm in them to hone them to the point you want them at.

You’ll always meet stumbling blocks along the way; you’ll always have difficulty that you’ll sometimes wonder why you can’t seem to surpass, but difficulty can only bring you down or keep you from honing your craft if you let it.

One of the hidden messages we received growing up includes the idea that we are not good enough just the way we are. This makes it feel as though we must earn the qualities for which we long, such as love. Constantly looking for fulfillment outside ourselves is a recipe for disaster. What we most desperately seek dwells within. Sure we can get some love from the outside but it becomes a different animal when one depends on it. As the saying goes, if we feed a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day but if we teach him how to fish he’ll eat forever. Learning to connect with the soul shows us that its presence is unconditional. It does not depend on us being good enough.

The soul has always been with us exactly right where we are in this exact moment but the personality blocks our awareness of its presence. The survival of the personality downplays the soul’s importance. The personality feels pressure to remain attached to something at all costs. Here is the lack of self-esteem disguised as attachment. The personality does not believe it will survive if it lets go. It obtains the illusion of survival from the attachment. Unfortunately the survival is more like spiritual death because it encourages disconnection with the soul, the source of real life.

The most important aspect and benefit of a spiritual practice aside from how it shifts and raises our energy and level of consciousness is its influence and seamless integration into every other aspect of our lives.I believe there is some confusion about spirituality and what a spiritual practice really is. It is not an isolated thing which we do sometimes alone in our rooms, but which has no effect on the rest of our lives. Nor is it based on faith or belief, but rather experiencing directly a new, powerful, and unlimited aspect to ourselves.

What Is A Spiritual Practice?

A spiritual practice is something which brings us into direct contact with the unlimited aspect of our being, and to the truly mystical and dreamlike nature of reality. It is an awakening to the magical nature of ourselves and this unfathomable reality we exist in against all logic and reason. And through this experience we also discover within us true power, unlimited creativity, boundless love, and perpetual inspiration, passion, and enthusiasm all of which we can apply to every thing we do and to all aspects of our lives.

As we found out in Spirit Science 4 and in the Human History movie: we are moving as a consciousness from a head focused species into a heart centered awareness.  We want to take some time to explore what that means, what it looks like, and how we are naturally shifting from expressing from our heads alone to our hearts as we love and nurture ourselves and the world around us.

What is the I?

Self, Ego, Mind, Separation, Solo, Lone Wolf,  Me mentality

This is the part of us that is pridefully independent.  Even when we need help we struggle to ask for it.  There is a sense of separation, independence and lack of general connections with others, or acknowledgment of  our own emotions.  As you can see in this state we are not only feeling separate from others but we are feeling separate from ourselves.

What does that look like?

Overly Analytical, logical without regard to emotion or flow, compromising, assuming, telling yourself negative stories, Critical, Limiting
