We said at the end of our last message that we would continue speaking of the source of your personal power.  We shall do that.  This is a topic which could be discussed at great length, so do not be surprised if we do not finish it today.  We have decided to have you compare two different imaginary persons and let you discover for yourselves how the differences we propose would effect them.

For the purpose of this comparison we give you a personality called John and another we shall name Ray.  You will see that you know many who have similarities to John, and not so many, perhaps like Ray.

The Councils of Selves

If you could see what is happening to so many others at this time, as we do, you would have a much clearer and more optimistic view of your circumstances than most of you do.  You see, clearly or not so clearly, your own progress.  You know of what may be happening for friends and acquaintances, perhaps.  Even at that, your knowledge is limited to what you are told and your own interpretations of it.

We, however, see the entire tapestry of your collective.  How could we not, since we, as we have been at pains to teach you, are deeply involved as participants in the entire process.  It is also important for you to begin to understand the fact that you are also completely involved.  That is a large part of what you will begin to understand now with the lifting of the veil, the parting of the curtain.

We are here today to bring you another look at the subject we brought up in an earlier message.  That subject is the make-up of who you are, of who we are.

This seems to be a very complex and difficult subject from your point of view, but we assure you that it is not.  The difficulty lies only in the newness of the thought for you.  And then, of course, there are those who cannot or will not entertain such thoughts for their own personal reasons.

Most of you who are reading this are those for whom that does not apply.  It is time for you to begin to understand that you are a great deal more than what is surrounded by your physical bodies.  Also, consider that this applies to every other person and every other entity around you.  Even though your senses tell you that you have limits, that you are separate from everything, it is not, in fact, true.  But that will lead us off on another tangent.

What we wish to dispel now is your perception that life happens to you.  And while we are at it, let’s also get rid of the thought that things are determined before you get ‘here’ and there is nothing you can do about it.  There is no conflict between the ideas of councils guiding your life and the fact that you are a being of free will.

Let us begin these messages for your year of 2014 with a new understanding of where this information will be coming from.  Nothing will, in fact, have changed, but we want to make it more clear to each of you where this guidance originates.

As you see above, I am speaking now for what we will call the councils.  Some channels call these groups, some call it other things.  But no matter what its name, it is the fact that each of you has, and in fact participates in, councils which guide you and every other sentient being on this journey.  You visit these councils.  Your higher selves sit here.  Your guides and your angels do, as well.

From where you sit at this moment, all the way up to the very highest consciousness in these universes, there are participants guiding all of us forward.  As we move through this year, we wish to make it more and more comfortable for you to understand and feel that these messages are not coming from some source to which you have no access.  Rather they come from that within each of you to which you have total access and always have had.
