Hemp: An Industrially Versatile Plant – Part 1/3

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when someone says the word ‘hemp’? For the uninformed, marijuana might immediately pop up, which could cause them to automatically shun the plant.

Almost any article you’ll find about hemp distinguishes it from marijuana, which is closely related to it but doesn’t actually have much to do with it. Unfortunately, the United States closely links hemp with marijuana by putting them in the same ‘Schedule 1’ drug category.

Even though industrial hemp doesn’t contain anywhere near enough THC (the active ingredient in marijuana) to produce any kind of ‘high’, the US government has utterly failed to distinguish it from its psychoactive counterpart.

Despite hemp’s numerous benefits, the Federal government’s comfortable pretending it’s the same as marijuana...

An Introduction to Meditative Writing – Part 3/3

Written by Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

Concluded from Part 2

We have to be careful when we follow any religious or spiritual source, and we’ll always want to keep in mind that when it comes down to it, we’re our own saviors. We’re the ones who are meant to find enlightenment, and no external force can deliver it to us.

This is one of the reasons I’ve chosen to localize my connection with my higher self to my articles, but make no mistake – every time you hear from me, you hear from my higher self and guides. This includes the times I don’t practice meditative writing.

I haven’t used it as much as I could so far, because I’m also exploring what it’s like to write without the assistance of meditation – with a clearer mind and an arsenal of words at my disposal, which flow from my mind and heart whether or not I meditate beforehand.

Either way, I know I’ll sufficiently receive and interpret the flow of energy and the words that result, but I prefer to use meditation sometimes because it expands my ability to receive them and enamors me with a purer state of consciousness.

An Introduction to Meditative Writing – Part 2/3

Channeling Without Fostering Dependence

With meditative writing, I hope to present to the world the idea that we can ‘channel’ our higher selves without directly channeling them.

We can channel without encouraging the conscious community to follow an external spiritual authority figure, and we can use the channeling ability, which we all have, to express how we feel while we allow our higher selves and guides to speak through us.

I know some seekers don’t even resonate with the idea of spiritual guides.

I respect this, but the idea that there are helpers in the higher realms who attempt to assist us does resonate with me. I don’t think we have to constantly listen to them speak through channelers to receive their assistance or feel their vibrations, but there’s nothing wrong with following channeled messages.

As the name suggests, meditative writing is the act using meditation to get into a deeper state of consciousness and use the energy and inspiration that results to write or express ourselves in another way.

I think meditative writing can be a great way to fade into the sacred self while being creative and expressional at the same time, and it can allow us to transcend the mind and express ourselves from a deeper, more spiritually alive and conscious level.

There’s nothing wrong with writing without the influence of meditation, of course, and potent articles can be produced either way. I sometimes prefer meditative writing because I enjoy getting into a deep state of consciousness and basically transcending the ego as I write.

Wes Annac ~ Standing Strong In The Light ~ 19 February 2014

A conscious revolution is subtly but powerfully taking place, and we’re being led to understand the truth of our existence in greater and more powerful ways as a result.

An aspect of this ongoing shift is our alignment and realignment with a clearer and purer state of consciousness, and it’s essential that we remain strong and assured of the path we want to take as we greet this renewal of our higher perception.

Do we want to follow the path of the light; of divinity; of progress, or do we want to follow the self-destructive path of darkness? We’re being given the opportunity to choose what we want to do and where we want to go, and I think it’s time to really ask ourselves what we want out of this existence and where our actions right now are taking us.

I’m not perfect, and like a lot of other seekers, I stray off of the path of balance at times. From my experiences so far, I’ve learned two things: that our actions and intentions are more important to the creation of our future than we think, and that we’re tasked with choosing harmony and balance over the ways of the dark.

Continued from one of my previous articles, Earthly Heaven.

The powers that were have and continue to get away with crimes and agendas that are against humanity’s wellbeing, but we don’t have to let their actions bring us down. The world around us is ridden with pain, suffering and cold-heartedness, but this doesn’t have to stop us from feeling its greatest joys and remembering that things aren’t so bad.

This place can be more beautiful than we realize if we see the good things it has to offer.

Reclaiming joy and personal empowerment will help us see the world around us in a new light, and the evils of the world will seem to matter little when we’re in tune with a greater perception; a greater reality. We’ll anchor the heavenly qualities of the place we’re in tune with when we rediscover joy and happiness, and our perception of darkness will gradually shrink.

We’re here to help humanity, and even though we aren’t meant to turn a blind eye to the woes of the world, we are meant to excel despite them. We can live in a world of darkness and still shine our light brightly, as long as we remain strong in the face of everything this reality has to offer.

The Aquarius Paradigm, By: Wes Annac, 02/14/2014

Children of Source, you’re free to sing your songs to the earth and the heavens. You’re encouraged to find your passion and let spirit into your lives in artful and creative ways, because we have a tremendous opportunity to do a lot of good things.

Motivation and enthusiasm are replacing complacency and laziness as we recognize what needs done to change the planet, and everyone’s invited to participate in this growing spiritual revolution.

You’re invited to throw yourself into the awakening of the planet by working away at things you enjoy doing, and even if you enjoy ten different things, you can throw yourself into all of them and become an immense creative force. If we can only realize our power and potential, we’ll understand that we’re capable of doing and being anything.

Death: A Simple and Unexpected Transition ~ Part 2/4

Continued from Part 1

Claude Kelway-Bamber tells us that some people continue to feel their bodies after they pass on.

“As I have already told you, for some time after people come here they continue to feel as if they were still in a mortal body.

You can realize this in a small way from what is, alas, a common occurrence nowadays. Any soldier who has had the misfortune to lose a limb will tell you he can feel pain, discomfort, or irritation in it for days after it has been amputated. In this way spirits continue for some time after they have left them to ‘feel’ their bodies after death.” (1)

I couldn’t imagine the sensation of “feeling” the body after death, but it’s probably very personal for the recently deceased. I can certainly understand the feeling of attachment to the body after it ceases to be, because the transition of death, however gentle, can be big for people who’ve been subjected to a rigid perception of it.

Death: A Simple and Unexpected Transition ~ Part 1/4

When the physical body dies, the consciousness of the person who inhabited it remains intact. As difficult as it might be to believe, what we’ve seen as death is little more than a continuance of life in a different form, and apparently, a lot of people who pass on have no initial sense of what happened.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of people who sought connection with departed souls, there’s a wealth of information out there about the life that exists beyond death. One of the things we’ve been told is that a lot of people who pass on don’t understand what’s taken place and require assistance to realize it, which is willingly and happily given.

A lot of people are apparently astounded to learn that their physical body has died, because their perception of death had always been distorted. The shock that comes with this knowledge can apparently cause confusion and bewilderment, as we’ll learn, but those of us who understand life after death can know what to expect when the time comes.

I try to write articles about this subject with respect for the idea that we’re exiting the life/death cycle, because to me, an aspect of raising consciousness is talking about the things that exist beyond this physical reality. I also hope to be able to quell any readers’ fear of death with information about the eternal nature of consciousness.

As consciousness continues to rise, humanity is being drawn together like never before.

We’re starting to understand our interconnected nature and the fact that we’re meant to run this planet together in the name of harmony and progress, and even though the number of people who’ve tapped into this truth is small right now, it’s poised to grow and grow.

The changemakers who’ve stepped up to the plate so far are paving the way for the rest of humanity to awaken and start expressing the divine qualities, and by the time our budding conscious revolution blooms into a planetary drive for divine change, we’ll have learned the importance of coming together.

The idea that we’re one consciousness experiencing itself is being understood by a growing number of people who are using the resulting inspiration to awaken others, and this is causing an inevitable snowball effect in the collective consciousness.
