Aging can have a lot of issues attached to it: The body is no longer at the top of its game and gravity is slowly but surely drawing the body down to its final resting place. We try not to complain, but Bette Davis probably said it best: Old age is no place for sissies.

As we age, there is also bound to be loss as friends and family age and inevitably cross over. What used to be a huge gathering during holidays and special occasions begins to dwindle, and many will suddenly become part of the nearly 50% of elderly people who feel isolated and alone. Then, when coupled with the physical ailments of aging, which are made worse by feelings of loneliness, emotional issues can turn into a disaster and depression can easily set in.

But now, in an inspiring innovation, elderly Seattle residents are finding a new lease on life with a project that integrates preschool and aged care facilities, bringing children and elderly residents together for variety of activities like music, dancing, art, storytelling and socializing.

Dark times, deeds and actions will happen on your Earth-plane.  Sometimes it will appear to have no rhyme or reason and, in other instances, it will seem as if it is a deadly arrow pointed directly at the heart of Love.  Do not abandon hope!  Now is the time to stand, embrace and send Unconditional Love where it is needed.  Remember; the light of The Universe always finds its way back, shining more brightly than ever. ~ Creator

You would be reluctant to trade in your joys for someone else’s. There are times you may think you would, yet your joys are precious to you. Not for all the tea in China would you give away one millisecond of what is precious to you. There you are. Your life is yours. It belongs to you. Your life does not belong to anyone else, nor does anyone else’s life belong to you.

You have something to teach. You have something to learn. Many of you believe that they are two different things.  They are wrapped together in a spiritual dance of intertwining energies. Everything you learn, you will eventually teach and every time you teach, you learn something new. ~ Creator

It is estimated that one dairy cow can produce up to 150 pounds of manure per day… So why not recycle that digested grass and put it to good use?

This is exactly what the company Reading Buses, based in the UK, has done.

The ‘Bus Hound’, the UK’s first poop-powered bus, has just set a speed record for a regular service bus with a top speed of 76.8 miles per hour (123.5kph). Powered by biomethane derived from cow manure, it is pushing the limits of sustainable technology and showing the world just what can be done with waste matter.

In good humor, the ‘Bus Hound’ (name inspired by the British Bloodhound supersonic car) is decorated with a black and white skin reminiscent of the Friesan cows used for milk production around Britain. It’s also said to sound like a Vulcan bomber.
