Reality is a consciousness hologram with the ability for us to move through time, to experience the full range of emotions we feel as humans. This vast (even infinite) quantum reality is filled with metaphors to help us understand and bridge the gap between physical reality and the nonphysical subtle reality of consciousness. The rainbow bridge is the ultimate metaphor in shifting our awareness towards a place where we are consciously evolving and becoming intentional evolutionaries. By crossing this bridge, we are able to become self-realized and self-realization is then just one step away from full enlightenment and liberation.

Even legendary physicists Einstein and Planck have said that matter doesn’t exist. By finally realizing that we are not what we think we are – this solid body that our basic senses perceive is the real ‘us’ – we can experience self-realization on the highest level where we realize that we are multidimensional consciousness simultaneously experiencing a wider horizon of Reality than we had ever previously thought was possible; even if we come from a religious background since this realization transcends all human concepts.

Faith and trust are powerful tools to allow you to release expectation and attachment to outcome. When you release expectation and attachment to outcome, you enter into a flow of acceptance that opens you up to far greater potentials and possibilities, and shifts you out of the discomfort of resistance. It is another way to embrace the joy and peace that comes from being a willing dance partner with a loving and supportive universe. ~Archangel Gabriel

Your true partner has already been decided; it is set above. It is already a commitment, without even knowing, it is an event set to happen by you.  The cosmos knows. Your soul knows. Your gut instinct knows. You have been partners many lifetimes before. There is nothing ‘ new’, it feels like you have been married a hundred times before. The other person knows what to say or not say, to evolve the process.

You will always come back to each other, or stick together in some way because of the enormous magnetic pull to each other. As they say in the movie Avatar ‘ I see you’. Those words are more than ‘I love you’.

The words have many more dimensions behind it. ‘I see your soul.’

What is self-love? This is certainly a question many life coaches will have considered. No, it’s not about your ego. Nor about being selfish. Self-love is the acceptance and understanding of yourself and of your emotions. Once you find this kind of love for yourself it will have a major impact on the way that you lead your life. Self-love isn’t about putting yourself at the centre of everything, splashing out on extravagant gifts for yourself or setting unrealistic standards for those around you in regard to their treatment of you. These are just mistakes that people often make in their quest for their one true love; their self-love.

Having the ability to love the self means being able to deal with negative emotions and situations that are unpleasant but inevitable. Instead of thinking, it’s not fair; those with the ability to love themselves don’t overcomplicate matters. Instead, life coaches encourage that loving yourself means accepting the things that you cannot change, instead focusing energy on what you can.

Cut down on narcissism and vanity and instead work on building meaningful relationships with others and doing meaningful work or activities that are good for the soul.

While flipping through the WestJet TV lineup on a recent cross-country flight, I reluctantly settled for a popular daytime talk-show (my other options included Days of Our Lives and re-runs of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo), which saw a panel of 4 diversely opinionated women duking it out to see who could make their co-host seem like the bigger idiot. Sigh.

Interestingly, however, the subject they were debating that day happened to be male circumcision, a surprising topic for daytime TV.

Two of the female hosts in particular were taking the stage with polarizing views on the matter. One host saw the medical procedure as a hygienic practice that lowered the risk of disease while the other saw it as an archaic and highly irrelevant surgery.

In the end, the audience was left undecided. I, however, was left with an ignited curiosity about a medical procedure that I had never really taken time to question.

I was impressed by the research the anti-circumcision host had prepared for her debate, and it got me thinking intently about the ethics behind the globally rooted practice.
