Day 4: New Beginnings, Kan 4

NEW BEGINNINGS  We invite you now to quiet your mind, letting loose any concerns of the day. Retreat to a quiet space where it is least likely you will be disturbed. Being in nature is optimal, we highly recommend sitting against large trees. Get into a comfortable position. Allow your body to relax. Pay attention to your breathing. Take a deep breath in, hold it a moment, and then let your breath out fully. Repeat this at least two more times.

Once you feel your body starting to release tension, go into your normal breathing pattern. One aspect of the Day Keeper Kan is the seeding of New Beginnings. Is there something new in your life that you would like to experience?  Choose one thought and give it your full attention. Push away any distracting thoughts. Visualize yourself experiencing whatever it is you have chosen. The key to this exercise is to use all your senses while you are visualizing what it is you wish to experience.

Becoming More Authentic

By Marcia Sirota MD

When thinking about this topic, the first thing to consider is, “Why is authenticity important?”

To me, the answer is clear: being more authentic helps you have more of what you want in life.

When you’re more authentic, you waste less time in activities and relationships that don’t meet your needs. You clarify your goals and can pursue them without the obstacles of doubt or confusion.

So, how do you become more authentic? It starts with being more honest with yourself.

We all tell ourselves stories about what we feel and want; authenticity is facing the truth about these things; being grounded in the reality of our past and present life.

To become more authentic, you need to spend time looking inward, connecting to your emotions, perceptions, sensations and desires. When you take the time to tune in to yourself, you know who you are and as a result, you can be more genuine in the world.

A Thousand and One Tales

God said:

I Myself have used the expression from the beginning of time. The expression could just as well have been from the beginning of time and space, even as I have stated more than once that time and space do not exist, no matter how much they may seem to.

Closer to the Truth would be to say from the beginning of imagined space and time, imagined-space-and-time have been imagined. We could have said from the beginning of the dream, from the beginning of story, from the beginning of a very fluid made-up tale entitled: The Many-Volumed Imagined Tales of Life on Earth Taken Very Seriously and other such titles.

The platform, the whole thing, is made-up and not real at all.

Of course, some stories you would wish with all your might to be true, and some stories you would wish to be erased, and, yet not one of the stories is true. They may be what you call real, yet from Infinity and Great Vision not one of the stories is true. This is Truth I tell you whether you agree with Me or not, which you probably do not.

Infinity is true. Oneness is true. The stories the Dream tells are fiction. Fiction believed true is still fiction. A blank page would be more representative of Truth. This is hard for My beloved children to digest as well. When you stub your toe, it hurts! What you call real life is A Thousand and One Tales of Dreams Dreamed of on Earth. Only in the World of Dreams are there such actions and inaction, yet, within the Dream, there are Themes of Truth. Love is Truth.

"Who am I?" That is the only religious question; all other questions are false. And if you have asked the one question, the basic question, the answer is hidden in the question itself.

If you go on asking deep inside yourself, "Who am I?" and you don't accept any false answer given by the mind, from the labels attached to you - that you are this or that, a Hindu, Mohammedan, communist, Catholic, man, woman, beautiful, ugly, old, young, body, mind - if you don't accept any answer given by the mind and you go on asking and asking, and the question penetrates your heart like an arrow and goes deeper and deeper to the ultimate core, there, suddenly, is the explosion.

Not that you will hear a voice saying who you are; there is nobody. But you have come to your source; you have tasted it, you have known it, you have experienced it. And with that one question solved, all questions disappear. That one experience is the experience of God. It liberates. It is truth.

Truth is in your being, but you can find it only by becoming a quest, an intense, passionate longing to know yourself.

Drop all other unnecessary questions. Only one question is relevant: Who am I?

Editor In Chief Of World’s Best Known Medical Journal: Half Of All The Literature Is False

In the past few years more professionals have come forward to share a truth that, for many people, proves difficult to swallow. One such authority is Dr. Richard Horton, the current editor-in-chief of the Lancet – considered to be one of the most well respected peer-reviewed medical journals in the world.

Dr. Horton recently published a statement declaring that a lot of published research is in fact unreliable at best, if not completely false.

“The case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue. Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness.” (source)

The Mandala and the Tao: Imagining the Unimaginable

Peter Patrick Barreda, Guest
Waking Times

Eyes look but cannot see it.
Ears listen but cannot hear it.
Hands grasp but cannot touch it.
Beyond the senses lies the great Unity—
invisible, inaudible, intangible.
Tao Te Ching

To understand the soul of the mandala is to gaze into the heart of truth and see the essence of reality. That truth is an intricate landscape of ebb and flow, light and dark, yin and yang—it is the Tao. The Tao as described by the Chinese since ancient days is the ungraspable essence of reality that flows on, inexorably, regardless of our own worries and concerns. The Tao Te Ching begins:

“The path that can be walked is not the eternal path.”

How to Recognize and Combat Thinking Traps That May Be Controlling Your Life

As a human being, you probably will have noticed that what people think and say often bears little relation to how they act. Is it because individuals think what they say is accurate when it isn’t?

According to the concept of The Thinking Trap, this is the case. We have a misguided view of what we do and why we do it. What we say is not a guide to our real selves and what we do is a much clearer insight into who we really are. Disassociation of what we say and do operates in almost all aspects of existence from what we perceive to how we behave.

The Introspective Illusion

The introspective illusion is the ideology that we like to know about ourselves and how we do things, but it is actually misplaced confidence. We think of ourselves as sensible and rational but we actually make up stories about ourselves and others about what we think is going on. These stories act as implicit theories that explain our own decisions. These explanations are not to do with our ability to accurately introspect, but we tell ourselves and others these stories, not knowing that they are actually not real.

Secret Pentagon report reveals West saw ISIS as strategic asset

Anti-ISIS coalition knowingly sponsored violent extremists to ‘isolate’ Assad, rollback ‘Shia expansion’

by Nafeez Ahmed

A declassified secret US government document obtained by the conservative public interest law firm, Judicial Watch, shows that Western governments deliberately allied with al-Qaeda and other Islamist extremist groups to topple Syrian dictator Bashir al-Assad.

The document reveals that in coordination with the Gulf states and Turkey, the West intentionally sponsored violent Islamist groups to destabilize Assad, despite anticipating that doing so could lead to the emergence of an ‘Islamic State’ in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

According to the newly declassified US document, the Pentagon foresaw the likely rise of the ‘Islamic State’ as a direct consequence of the strategy, but described this outcome as a strategic opportunity to “isolate the Syrian regime.”

Daily Message ~ Saturday May 23, 2015

There is a phenomenon that occurs in humans where they idolize others. The person they feel so drawn to is someone who excels in their field, usually an artist or performer of some sort. Let us explain to you why this happens.

It is not necessarily the person you are so drawn to, but rather their complete and perfect alignment with their purpose! Your fascination with this person is actually your own desire to express your own beautiful alignment and your own highest expression of self.

That is the true gift that those of fame offer. Not only do they play out their own problems in a public way in order to allow you to learn and grow from their experiences, they also remind you of the glory of living your highest life expression, by honouring your true purpose and unique contribution to the planet. ~Archangel Gabriel
