Banksy’s classic Christmas card shows a picture of Joseph and Mary crossing the desert on their way to Bethlehem and are blocked by the infamous apartheid wall that separates Israel from Palestine and the West Bank. The card has recently gone viral again because of the holidays, but it is actually a few years old and seems to circulate around this time every year.

The piece first appeared at Santa’s Ghetto exhibit in London in 2005, which followed Banksy’s trip to the middle east.

Himalayan Bees Make Psychedelic Honey

Source: www.themindunleashed.org | Original Post Date: November 3, 2015 –

Locals in China, India, and Nepal risk their lives to obtain the golden liquid that drips from very particular hives deep in the Himalayan forest. This honey is so precious it is called ‘mad honey’ for its interesting properties, coveted the world over.

Honey from the Himalayan cliff bee (Apis dorsata laboriosa) results when the largest bee in the world (just over 3cm long) scavenges pollen from Rhododendron flowers. The highland species has access to the flowers, which are normally highly poisonous to humans. The bee has had little alteration to its genes since its habitat is largely undisturbed in the Himalayan Mountains.

After more than a decade of discussion and planning, Peru on Sunday will officially designate Sierra del Divisor National Park, a 1.3 million hectare (3.3 million acre) reserve that is home to uncontacted indigenous tribes, endangered wildlife, and one of South America’s wildest landscapes.

The much-awaited news was revealed late Friday night in a series of tweets by Peru’s Environment Minister Manuel Pulgar-Vidal, who called the declaration a “historic event”.

“The creation of the Sierra del Divisor National Park is a historic event,” he said. “It is a confirmation of the Peruvian government’s commitment to conservation, sustainable development and the fight against climate change.”

There has been much talk in your Realm of the need for war to maintain peace. Many of you have come to believe this is true. We disagree and ask that you open your eyes and hearts to allowing others to walk the Paths of their choice.

These wars not only exist on global levels, but within families, close relationships, co-workers, those you meet casually and within your own self. There are increasing instances such as road rage where fights, sometimes leading to death, ensue between strangers over trivial issues.

How can you help end this madness? Maintain inner peace at all times. No matter what another says or does, allow it to be, without getting caught up in the swirl of negative emotions that will surely take you out of balance.

How To Go After What You Love In Life & Mitigate The Risk

In the animal kingdom both prey and predator have to take risks to survive. There is no comfort zone that allows for sustained security. For example, wild rodents must leave the safety of their den to forage for food with the knowledge that they could come across predators. Yet they are equally aware that if they stay in their den they will starve; a risk must be taken to get what they need to survive.

Predators such as leopards, on the other hand, also have to take risks when hunting prey. Many of the prey they hunt, such as baboons and wild boar, are equipped with dangerous horns, teeth, and other evolutionary tools used for self-defense. When pursuing these animals, the leopard risks serious injury every time it hunts; fatal injuries which could prevent it from hunting and nurturing its young must be carefully considered during each hunt. Mothers must risk having their offspring eaten by predators or rival males every time they leave their young to go get food. If the leopard chooses not to hunt it will starve, so it once again has no choice but to take risks. Animals that survive these risks and become more adept at successfully taking them evolve.

There’s A Hidden Network Of Psychedelic Temples Under The Alps

Damanhur is a commune, ecovillage, and spiritual community that was founded in 1975 by a man named Falco Tarassaco. It is situated in the Piedmont region of northern Italy about 30 miles north of the city of Turin, in the foothills of the Alps.

It is best known for its otherworldly underground tunnels that feature a cathedral dedicated to awakening the divine spark present in every human being, known as the Temples of Humankind. Called the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” what makes these temples so extraordinary is that they were dug (almost) entirely by hand into the heart of the mountain in which they reside.

Daily Message ~ Tuesday December 22, 2015

Dear Ones, you cannot analyze your way into having fun. Think of children leaving a school for recess. They whole-heartedly embrace the Now moment, effortlessly moving from activity to activity, spending time in whatever they feel is most enjoyable.
Fun is a surrendered flow. It cannot be forced or constrained, as true fun takes on a life of its own. Allow yourself to set your inner GPS to fun and see where it takes you! With the carefree abandon of a child, know that if you try something and don’t like it you can simply try something else. Be present, be open, and be joyful, for you that is how you fully embrace life and all it has to offer. ~Archangel Gabriel

Clinton Tops List of Arms Company Donations

Hillary Clinton has received more money from arms and military service companies than any other candidate during the 2016 presidential campaign, data from Open Secrets shows.

All but one of the world’s 10 biggest arms producers have contributed to Clinton’s previous campaigns, giving her — along with the top Republican receiver Ted Cruz — a significant margin over the other candidates.

The numbers, collected by the Federal Election Commission and compiled by Open Secrets, also reveal that Rand Paul and Bernie Sanders make the list of top 20 senators and top six presidential candidates to receive money from arms and defense companies.

Most of the funding is channeled through Political Action Committees, which have no limits to how much they donate. About 18 percent comes from individual contributions, totaling almost US$10 million between all of the companies.
