Virgo…. Oh, efficient, detail-oriented, analytical, and organized Virgo. How desperately we need you to “clean up the mess” we make and to edit the noise of life. Your dedication and service for the well-being of all is the beauty of your energy!

Virgo comes to us with perfect timing. She is, after all, the sign of perfection! As we begin to move from late summer into fall, we find ourselves beginning to pay attention to where we need to edit our lives in order to transition into the energy of autumn, slowly letting go of all the frolicking of summer, the ice cream cones, the barbecues, the lazy days on the beach and move back into work and service. We become more conscious of our health by watching our diets, exercising, organizing a plan for ourselves to detoxify. We pay attention to the details of our lives setting the boundaries necessary to more efficiently prepare for the winter ahead. We direct our thoughts and actions towards our well-being (physically, emotionally, and spiritually). Virgo gives us an understanding as to what it means to say NO to those people and events that cross our boundaries and interfere with our goals. It is saying NO in order to say YES. As Gahl Sasson so eloquently puts it: “Say NO to sweets to say YES to health.” Virgo in our natal charts shows us where we need to pay more attention to detail in our lives.

Day 98: Mirror Images

MIRROR IMAGES   When you feel emotions such as anger, fear or frustration, it is the result of an unresolved issue. Like a mirror, the person or event triggers a past experience, which was either too painful or too bothersome to deal with when it first occurred. It is imperative to live in the now and deal with all issues as they arise. This will keep your energy clear and retard any stagnant issues that cause disease in the body or emotional realm. Your senses also bring up emotional issues from the past.

Photographs, scents, songs, fabrics and tastes all have the ability to instantly take you back to a memory, sometimes one that has been deeply locked away for years. If the memory that arises causes you distress or discomfort, take time to go back and observe the event. Find ways to release any negativity related to this event. Perhaps there is someone you need to forgive; maybe your behavior was less than honorable and you need to forgive yourself. If you hold a victim mentality regarding this issue, now is a good time to release it. Accept full responsibility for your actions without beating yourself up with shame or guilt.

The Keeper of Truth

God said:

What are the accumulated understandings I give to you again and again?

I say to let go of the past and past ideas. I say to open your heart. I say to be true to yourself - to be Who You Are, and so create joy and uplift the world. You are My heartfelt gift to the world.

Let’s review these concepts: Abandon the past. Open your heart the way the Sun greets the day. Be true to yourself. Be Who you are without fancy foot-work. Be your own counsel. To create is to recreate yourself and be new however long you shall live. There is another request. What is it? It will come back to Me later. Watch for it.

Be generous with all those you call others, for they are your very Self. Truth is far more than information. You already have more information than you know what to do with.

You can memorize information the way you would memorize poetry, and the vibration/consciousness/deep meaning may soak into you and reverberate within you.

When you first hear to be generous, when it is a new thought in your mind, and when it sparks an insight in your mind, you may think: “I didn’t know this. Now I get it. Yes, there has been an insight, and I realize the outreach of generosity.”

Now you think of generosity as a good thing, yet you may not have not fully realized this Truth. If you still have to ponder generosity, you have not yet realized it.

That your mind now grasps generosity as something favorable doesn’t yet mean that you automatically dip into this great reservoir within you. Old habits run deep.

Gibberish should be taught to every person. The world will become saner if you can simply sit in your room and talk loudly to nobody in particular for one hour. In the beginning it will look crazy. It is! But it will relieve you of much heat, steam, and after one hour you will feel tremendously quiet.

And it is inhuman to force your gibberish on other people, because you can force it on them. Then they are in trouble, then whatsoever you have said to them goes on rumbling inside their head, they have to search for somebody else, and on and on. This way the problem that could have been solved becomes a world problem! You may be gone, but the gibberish that you have put in other people's heads will go on and on for centuries!

Day 97: Breath of Life

BREATH OF LIFE There are many forms of light, for it means many things to different people. The light we wish to talk about today comes from within; it is the eternal flame that comes from your Creator. Once upon a time, there were no individual lights, all of you were an integral part of the whole, similar to the light that shines forth from your sun. At one point, this light fragmented to allow for a variety of experiences. This light inside your heart is similar to one candle flame.

Each of you has this flame of God Essence within you. Even those that do the most horrendous deeds on Earth have this light within. Many of you have hidden this light so deeply that you cannot enjoy its flame. Yet no matter how deeply it is hidden, this flame can be brought forth to shine brightly. All it needs is a little oxygen. We call this oxygen “breath.”

Your breath is the most important element you need to exist on this Earth. Try not breathing for just a few minutes and you will understand what we say. In order for your light to shine brightly, it needs oxygen. Breathing consciously while setting intentions is very powerful. There are many techniques on how to use the breath to energize the body, mind and soul.

In general, as I see it, there are two main strands of choice available to those who wake-up and feel impelled to take a stand: the outward focussed activist approach and the one that favours withdrawal from the system and ceasing to comply with the status quo: ‘non compliance’. Practising both at once is a pretty tall order, but not impossible.
