Spiritual Revolution: What Do We Want?

Credit: Clipartist.net

By Wes Annac, Culture of Awareness

I don’t know how any of you feel about our current time or how you want to contribute to this massive social/spiritual revolution, but personally, my goals are simple. I want to use creativity – writing, music and anything else that seems to provide a path into a higher consciousness – to help the world.

I want to give my perspective on the various important issues that are emerging in our society today, and I want to use the awesome power of spirit and what some people call the ‘higher self’ (though I don’t like to label it) to offer something that can hopefully help everyone.

I used to be interested in promoting certain beliefs, but these days, I just want to promote whatever helps me expand my consciousness and awareness. And I want to be able to do it with minimal judgment and condemnation toward others who don’t think the same way I do.

I think it’s healthy to be constructively critical of ideas or philosophies that don’t resonate with us, but what matters, in my view, is the level of respect we show their proponents, who are human beings (and spiritual beings) just like us.

government-confirms-increased-earthquake-activity-related-to-fracking

The US Geological Survey recently released findings that show, as many people have suspected, that the process known as fracking is directly related to the incredible increase of earthquake incidence in the United States. According to the study, the amount of earthquakes has increased dramatically over the past few years; between 1973 and 2008 there was an average of 21 earthquakes of a magnitude 3 and larger on the Richter scale in the Central and Eastern United States. This increased to an alarming rate of 99M3+ earthquakes per year between 2009 and 2013, and this rate is continuing to rise.

Chinese Company Moves To Replace 90% Of Its Workforce With Robots

Source: www.libertyblitzkrieg.com | Original Post Date: May 6, 2015 –

I’m not one of those people who thinks robots taking over menial labor from human employees is a bad thing. On the contrary, I think such a displacement could ultimately prove very positive for the species. Nevertheless, the short-term pain and suffering that this could cause for displaced workers and their families likely will have tremendous negative repercussions to the societies that are most affected in the near and intermediate-term.

Since robots entering the workforce is probably one of the most significant economic trends in the decades ahead, we should all start thinking about how to deal with what will be a major adjustment for hundreds of millions, if not billions, of people.

Where Is Your Soul Located?

Your life is never half over.

Every day you are just beginning life. You experience life in made-up increments of time.

All the while, you are simply an Earthling having a dream. You are new every day. There is another day and another day. Each day is new, and so are you new every day. Today you are not who you seemed to be yesterday. You are, indeed, every day a new rose unfolding and unfolding before My very eyes. And, you are, indeed, a rose whose very leaves and blossoms pass away, for life on Earth is finite. Life on Earth was set up this way. Life on Earth is a temporary fling.

This presentation of life as a storm whirling you around also presents you and your personality with a daily opportunity to rise and reach higher to where there is more than what eyes on Earth see clearly. The Unseen Unknown is also present. Omnipresent. This moment on Earth gives an opportunity for you and your spirit to soar. Even as you are glommed to Earth, stuck in a place that is not yet big enough for you, you, nevertheless, have some awareness of Who you really are.

Looking at your life in the spiritual world, you are always. There is no definition of you to blow away as there is on Earth in this imagined day to day existence. You may think, while you are on Earth, that you are out in space somewhere. You converge on Earth.

A Guide To Finding Happiness Within Yourself

The quest of finding happiness is possibly the only goal shared among all human beings – past, present or future. Who doesn’t want to find happiness in his or her life? It’s a silent goal nonetheless. We don’t mutter much about it and most of the time it lurks in the deep inner workings of our minds. Curious isn’t it?

I have written before about the odd fact that in the West we spend billions of research dollars & euros into treating mental illnesses with drugs but not much effort goes into understanding the science of happiness or mental well being. This fact alone compels me to write about the subject.

The title of this article is in itself revealing – “how to find happiness within yourself” suggests from the outset that you should look for happiness within yourself and that happiness is generally to be found within. This is also a very curious thing to me. Why are we always trying to find happiness in all kinds of places but hardly ever attempt to find happiness within?

The only right and religious question is one: that is, who am I? Because nobody can answer it, that's why it is the only valid question - only you can answer it. Nobody can say who you are, only you; and you too only when you go deep into yourself, beyond all the labels that are sticking on your surface: that "I am a doctor", that "I am an engineer", that "I am a businessman", that "I am a professor"; that "I am a Christian", that "I am a Hindu", that "I am a Catholic" or a communist, socialist; that "I am Indian", or German or Japanese.

When you start penetrating all these labels that have been stuck on you - they are many, layers upon layers; if, you throw away one layer of labels you will find another layer of labels there - you will have to peel all these labels off. Man has become almost like an onion: you have to peel all the layers off, and then one day you reach to the center.

How To Release Ego & Transform The World

How To Release Ego & Transform The World

by Nanice Ellis

There is enough for everyone. Our magnificent earth provides an abundance of food, energy, natural medicine, and building supplies that could easily meet the needs of everyone on this planet.

Mother Earth does not charge money for any of these things, but our artificial economic system creates lack, scarcity and a slave civilization.

We are killing our world and ourselves with poison food, toxic water, and polluted air, not to mention depression, anxiety, poverty and a host of other socio-economic issues – all caused or related to the global economic system.

It appears very easy to blame corrupt world leaders, governments, corporations and a host of other problematic sources — but the system continues because we agree to it. Perhaps, our agreement is complacent, but nonetheless, our lack of non-agreement perpetuates the dysfunction.

So the question is,

“What is it about each of us that makes us comply and go along – enabling the corrupt and moral-less?”

Neurons Constantly Rewrite their DNA to Adapt to the Environment

Neurons Constantly Rewrite their DNA

If you thought DNA was stable inside mature cells, you were wrong. Apparently, neurons are constantly changing to adapt to their environment. Minor surgeries are conducted toggling activity levels every single day. In effect, neurons constantly rewrite their DNA as needed. This information was discovered by John Hopkins scientists and published in the journal Nature Neuroscience on the 27th day of April this year.

Hongjun Song, Ph.D. says, “DNA, in a cell, is not always stable. It is being altered all the time in order to function. Even molecular tags, which maintains the cell’s identity, are constantly being altered.”

Daily Message ~ Saturday May 9, 2015

If you start choosing a path of joy, you become much more willing to be fully present in your life. By being fully present, you harness the power of the Now moment and anchor more of the energy you want through your appreciation. This creates the fuel for more joyful tomorrows, and starts to transform your life into something that is far more in line with what you wish to experience and deserve.

It all starts with making the choice of the energy you prefer, and finding the evidence of it in your life already. You are great and powerful magnifiers, each and every one of you, and that ability is available to you every second of every day. Why not find the beauty in your Now for even more beautiful tomorrows? It is what will create the shift from unconsciously wishing your life away because it is filled with drudgery to consciously creating and savouring every moment. ~Archangel Gabriel

The Natural World Is Our Teacher

Credit: Pinterest.com

By Wes Annac, Culture of Awareness

Every new day is an opportunity to explore ourselves and our planet, but it’s hard to explore the world when we’re too busy rushing around every day to get out, open our eyes and let the earth teach us a thing or two.

It doesn’t matter how far along the spiritual path we feel like we are – getting out to nature and learning from its simplistic (yet impressively intricate) beauty seems like one of the best ways to elevate our consciousness and our understanding of what life truly is.

We can merge our understanding of our higher consciousness with our understanding of the natural world, and by exploring nature and absorbing the energies that permeate that landscape, we can not only learn about our higher consciousness, but our grounded, earthy consciousness too.

This is one reason I think the earth’s natural environment is important to our attempts to find enlightenment. True enlightenment, in my opinion, comes with the recognition that everything around and within us has an essential role to play in our physical and spiritual evolution.

12 Worst Ideas Religion Has Unleashed On The World

Source: www.alternet.org | Original Post Date: February 11, 2015 –

Some of humanity’s technological innovations are things we would have been better off without: the medieval rack, the atomic bomb and powdered lead potions come to mind. Religions tend to invent ideas or concepts rather than technologies, but like every other creative human enterprise, they produce some really bad ones along with the good.

I’ve previously highlighted some of humanity’s best moral and spiritual concepts, our shared moral core. Here, by way of contrast, are some of the worst. These twelve dubious concepts promote conflict, cruelty, suffering and death rather than love and peace. To paraphrase Christopher Hitchens, they belong in the dustbin of history just as soon as we can get them there.

1. Chosen People –The term “Chosen People” typically refers to the Hebrew Bible and the ugly idea that God has given certain tribes a Promised Land...
