Daily Message ~ Thursday April 23, 2015

What if you turned your inner critic into your inner cheerleader? What if you chose to encourage yourself to shine and thrive? How much more would you experience? How much more satisfaction would you have in your life? Dear Ones, it is just as easy to be your own loving parent, your own loving guide, your own uplifter, as it is to be your own abuser, but the results are so much more satisfying, and much more in line with the truth of who you really are. It is time to become the safest, most loving person in the world to yourself, and create the perfect environment for you to grow and bloom into your greatest expression of self. ~Archangel Gabriel

The homeless man who works in the Senate

In the basement of the Dirksen Senate Office Building, 63-year-old Charles Gladden works alongside some of the nation’s most powerful people. For eight years, he has greeted senators, staffers and lobbyists in the hallways and the cafeteria, at exclusive banquets and special functions. He reflects fondly on some of the warmer colleagues who he says got the boot too soon.

But unbeknown to any of these bigwigs, or even to his employer, Gladden is homeless. He works in the Senate cafeteria, and he has not had a fixed address for the past five years.

The reasons are complicated. He said he has made decisions he regrets — not least leaving George Washington University, where he’d been studying fine arts on a scholarship. (Truancy and trouble with the law landed him in a juvenile institution as a teenager; he got the scholarship after winning second place in an art show.) After dropping out, he spent years in low-paying jobs: painting houses, laying bricks, delivering food.

Vision Quest: An Experience of Direct Knowing

By Glenn Aparicio Parry, PhD

On my quest, I came to see every blade of grass, every plant, rock, tree, or insect as a teacher

There is a reason why vision quests are traditionally something that adolescents engage in as a rite of passage into adulthood; young people are clearly better able to withstand the physical demands. But, ultimately, a vision quest is not about suffering; it is about receiving a vision.

In my case, I received benefits even before my first [vision] quest began—from the moment I contemplated doing it. That night, I had multiple dreams of dying and being reborn into a new awareness, of connecting to ancestor spirits emerging from the ocean and floating through the air. I also began to hear differently, both in my dreams and in waking life. Common sounds—bird calls, branches swaying, leaves whispering—became more prominent. Spirit seemed to be telling me that it was all about listening. I could feel the muscles behind my ear twitching in anticipation, and I eventually realized that I was being prepared for something that my rational mind could not possibly understand.

5 Cars that Do Not Run on Gasoline

nanoFlowcell AG – QUANT

Pao L. Chang, Guest
Waking Times

If you are worried that the world is going to run out of crude oil, you do not need to be afraid because it is a hoax. Crude oil is naturally created by the Earth, so as long as we give the Earth enough time, she can replenish the crude oil. Even though we still have a lot of crude oil left, it is best to stop using it to produce gasoline to power cars in the near future, because it is polluting and destroying our planet at nearly critical levels.

The five short videos in this article will show you that we already have the technologies to create cars that do not run on gasoline. Some of these cars do not even require fuel to run because they run on “free energy.” The sad thing is that some of these alternative energy technologies have existed since the early 1900s, but the inventors of these technologies have been forcibly silenced by the oil cartels.

Scientists Link Autism To These Toxic Chemicals During Fetal Development

Source: www.collective-evolution.com | Original Post Date:May 11, 2014 –

The cause of autism is still unknown, but we are definitely closer to figuring it out. A new study published in the journal PLOS Computational Biology, from researchers at the University of Chicago revealed that autism and intellectual disability (ID) rates are linked with exposure to harmful environmental factors during congenital development.

Essentially what happens is during pregnancy… there are certain sensitive periods where the fetus is very vulnerable to a range of small molecules – from things like plasticisers, prescription drugs, environmental pesticides and other things. Some of these small molecules essentially alter normal development. Autism appears to be strongly correlated with rate of congenital malformations of the genitals in males across the country, this gives an indicator of environmental load and the effect is surprisingly strong. The strongest predictors for autism were associated with the environment; congenital malformations on the reproductive system in males...

In Historic Ruling, Pair Of Chimpanzees Recognized As ‘Legal Persons’

Source: www.commondreams.org | Original Post Date: April 21, 2015 –

For the first time in U.S. history, a judge has effectively recognized two chimpanzees as legal persons, in an order Monday which will allow a pair of research primates—Hercules and Leo—to seek relief from unlawful imprisonment.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Barbara Jaffe on Monday granted the chimps a writ of habeas corpus that will require Stony Brook University, where they are being kept for biomedical experiments, to appear in court and explain why the school has “unlawfully detained” Leo and Hercules. That hearing is set for May 6.

Jaffe’s decision comes in response to a petition filed by the Nonhuman Rights Project (NhRP). Steven Wise, one of the lawyers on the case, told the Guardian after the ruling, “This is one step in a long, long struggle.”

Achievement or Understanding? The Choice is Ours

Credit: Pinterest.com

By Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

It’s safe to say that most people on the spiritual path would love to be free of attachment, which tends to hinder our growth and evolution. Attachment to achievement or material things is yet another manifestation of the nearly constant effort to fill the inner void, which, as we’re learning, we don’t want to fill at all.

Instead of filling it, the best thing we can do is sit with it, observe it and come to the realization that it’s our gateway to spirit.

The void we try so desperately to fill is actually our means of connecting with the divine; our inner Christ consciousness. Unfortunately, a lot of people – even spiritual seekers – try so hard to fill it that they forget that it’s where their Christed Self lives in the first place.

Understanding the Energy-Based Nature of Reality and the World Around Us

If you want to find the secrets of the Universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.

– Nikola Tesla

It has always been my belief and understanding that everything in our world, the trees and streams, our pets, and ourselves, are a just one aspect of reality. Our perceptions and senses, what we see, hear, and feel, are merely a physical manifestation of what really exists, and provide just a small component of understanding in the scope of what really is. The actual substance of our existence, in my opinion, is purely energy-based. We are all comprised of energy, and every action and reaction which we see is accompanied by a transmission of kinetic or potential energy interacting between entities. Many theologists have made references to our souls being the pure energy form of ourselves, and some suggest that our spirits are formless. I have come to believe that the physical manifestation we all know is just a clay molding over the energy substructure and the reality of our being.

10 Hallmarks of Healthy Relationships

10 Hallmarks of Healthy Relationships

By Phil Watt
Guest Writer for Wake Up World

Working in the therapeutic sector with many different people in many types of relationships – including partners, parents/children and friends – it has become apparent that there are a few key factors which are generally present when the relationship is healthy.

Throughout the following ten hallmarks, a common theme is open and clear communication. We may feel or think a certain way, but if we don’t express it, how the hell is anyone meant to know? Real communication is without a doubt integral to a healthy relationship, so if it’s not one of our strong points, then we should keep practicing it until it is.

Honesty and Trust

Being honest with our loved one doesn’t necessarily mean that each person knows everything about each other. We don’t share every dream we have, what we did exactly from the start to finish of each day, how many times we went to the toilet, what attention we got from the opposite sex etc., but it does mean that each person genuinely knows who each other is and how they feel.

5 Reasons Breastfeeding is Awesome

breastfeeding

By Dr. Edward F. Group
Guest Writer for Wake Up World

Many mothers choose breastfeeding because of the close bonding experience and the fact that it’s the most nutritious option for their baby. Commercial formulas, even the organic ones, simply can’t compare. Let’s take a look at 5 proven reasons why breastfeeding is just plain awesome.

1. Breastfeeding Provides the Best Nutrition

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics suggests the best strategy for nutrition and health protection is “exclusive breastfeeding […] for the first 6 months of life” and “breastfeeding with complementary foods from six months until at least 12 months of age.” Breastfeeding your child during the first few months of life could also influence the makeup of the gut microbiome—making the transition to solid foods easier.

6 Reasons Why Everyone Should Be Living In An Earthship

Earthships are sustainable homes that can be built out of a variety of waste and earth. They’re rad in ways no other house can match.

1. Sustainability does not mean living primitively

When you think about offgrid living, what comes to mind? 18th century candle light living? Not the case. As you can see, just because you’re living sustainably doesn’t mean you’re living in a cave without running water or anything.

2. There’s the free food.

An earthship’s passive solar unit can double as a greenhouse for year-round vegetables. You can also utilize your home’s abilities to catch rain water for watering and other graywater uses.

Thousands evacuate after Chile volcano erupts

Southern Chile's Calbuco volcano has erupted for the first time in more than four decades, sending a thick plume of ash and smoke several kilometres into the sky, local television images showed.

Chile's Onemi emergency office declared a red alert following Wednesday's eruption, which occurred about 1,000km south of the capital Santiago near the tourist town of Puerto Varas. The area is sparsely populated, with only a few small communities.

Video footage of the eruption, which occurred at around 6pm local time (21:00 GMT), showed a spectacular mushroom-shaped cloud of ash and smoke, that turned red as the sun went down.

About 4,000 people had evacuated from the area and an evacuation radius of 20km has been established, authorities said.

Be Good-Hearted

Love is a natural event. Love isn’t organized. It comes at a high vibration. Love doesn’t have to be tumultuous. Love does not even have to be pursued. If love is natural, it is naturally-occurring.

Love is not urgent. I am speaking to those who feel that love is urgent, that you must claim a committed love in order to be worthwhile. To you it may feel that you must be married or you will fall into categories such as dying on the vine.

The world seems to expect marriage of you, and you may be quick to respond.

Often, the observation that haste makes waste is truer than you missed the boat.

Have some respect for nature and naturalness and letting life come to you on its own terms. If you must pursue love, that may well be your course. Be seeking love then and sowing happiness while you are at it. You aren’t seeking love at the expense of anyone. You are not capturing anyone. False promises are false to yourself and to your own well-being. To thine own self be true. Being true to yourself and being true to others are the same. You need no pretense.

Romantic love has earmarks of illusion, yet it is not for you to make false promises to yourself or to another. What makes you think you would ever have to? Where is it written that you have to belie yourself?

ADHD is the New Education

ADD ADHD

Jon Rappoport, Guest
Waking Times

“There is a form of mind control that is really mind-chaos. It shatters the processes of thought into, at best, vaguely related fragments. There is no direction, no development, no progress along a line of reasoning. This is how you disable a person. You disrupt his ability to move from A to B to C. At that point, he becomes passive. He’s willing to be programmed, because it’s easier. He wants to be programmed.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

“I learned twenty-four new things today at school,” the child said. “One right after the other. I felt so happy. My teacher told me I was learning accelerated. I wrote on my iPad. I saw pictures. I did group harmony. I added. I divided. I heard about architecture. The teacher said we were filled with wonder at the universe. We solved a problem. We’re all together. I ate cheese. A factory makes cheese.”

The new education is ADHD.

7 Differences Between Religion And Spirituality

7 Differences Between Religion And Spirituality in5d in 5d in5d.com www.in5d.com http://in5d.com/

by Dejan Davchevski

A lot of people mistake Spirituality for Religion or some mysterious, supernatural occurrence. Some even think of it as a sect but this is because of their lack of knowledge and their fear of being manipulated.

If we move past this and try to study and understand what spirituality actually is, we’ll come to a realization that it is nothing mysterious or supernatural nor in any way connected to a sect of any kind.

These 7 differences between Religion and Spirituality will help you understand what Spirituality actually is.

1. Religion Makes You Bow – Spirituality Sets You Free

Religion tells you to follow an ideology and obey certain rules or you’ll be punished otherwise. Spirituality lets you Follow Your Heart and What You Feel Is Right. It sets you free to be what you truly are without bowing to anything that doesn’t resonate as right with you nor to anyone because we are all one. It is all up to you to choose what you’ll honor enough to make it divine.
