6 Lessons Learned On A Spiritual Path

When people make the choice to pursue a life path of personal development and spirituality, they encounter certain universal lessons that seem to arise as archetypes.  If you are on a path of higher consciousness, there is a good chance you have experienced these realizations already.  What’s great about lessons learned on a spiritual path is that these same lessons were learned by people 1000, 5000, and 10,000 years ago.

Here are 6 universal lessons learned on a spirit path:

1) Other people are a reflection of you

The outer world mirrors your inner world.  And no, this is not just some cute cliche that I’m putting in this list because it gets thrown around a lot.  Walk into a store in a frustrated mind-identified state of consciousness.  Walk into that same store after meditating for 5 minutes.  Now, walk into that same store after meditating for 30 minutes out in nature.

4 Beliefs That Are Limiting You From Your True Potential

Held-Back1. That You Are Not Good Enough

The fact that you exist, that the perspective of Source wanted to experience itself through you – proves that you are enough.

You are always trying your best, even if that looks like staying in bed because you just can’t face the day – you are trying your hardest in that moment.

It’s always good enough, and when we transcend concept, the idea of good and bad as we understand doesn’t exist. Everything just is; keep going.

What is Synchronicity?

Synchronicity, by definition is:

“The simultaneous occurrence of events that appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection.”

Fractal this out to a larger scale. Imagine the world as a living organism. If we could feel the ebb and flow of everyone, feel all the simultaneous moments of laughter, anxiety, pure relaxation and everything in-between, we would see that synchronicity is everywhere – constantly occurring. Everything is a simultaneous occurrence of events - it’s the moment we put our focus on it that gives it meaning.

Is there Value to getting angry?

Anger is a Root vibe… it bubbles up from the Root chakra when there is absolutely no other way. When there are no feelings of safety, no feelings of support from those around you, and a feeling that it just can’t be stuffed anymore until it explodes out in a torrent of rage.

But is there value to this? Is there some beneficial “thing” that can come from getting angry and exploding it out onto those around you?

Considering that it is an innate built-in feature to the human psyche (and potentially other mammals or maybe even all kinds of creatures), there must be something that can come from it, even if it is not the best way to do things.

6 Tips To Avoid Burning Yourself Out In Life

Being burnt out is something almost everyone experiences at some point in their life, yet this isn’t usually something that is talked about in the “spiritual” circle.  A big part of stepping into your highest potential is creating habits and routines that facilitate growth in your life.  If you aren’t managing priorities, time, and work properly, all of your effort will be going into trying to restore your energy levels instead of into personal growth.

Here are 7 practical tips to avoid burning yourself out in life:

1) Don’t overcommit

If you can’t take a fellow employees shift, then tell them you can’t do it.  Don’t tell your boss your work will be completed in a timeline that is not realistic for you.  Don’t try to please your peers by making plans with them all weekend if you feel you need rest.  Respect yourself enough to know that nothing is more valuable than your happiness.  Not even productivity.

Meditation Vs Medication: Why Meditation Is Better Than Taking Pills

Meditation is nature’s best healer.  It allows the body to reach a state of harmonic resonance, which puts the body into a state of regeneration.  When people feel ill, they often turn towards prescription medication without a second thought.  But what if meditation could cure and even prevent some diseases?

90% of all diseases and illnesses are either caused or aggravated by stress, and meditation is a great way to reduce the impact negative emotions have on our bodies and nervous systems.  A shift in consciousness causes a shift in biology, and when you are peaceful and calm during meditation, you release chemicals such as seratonin, oxytocin, and dopamine which help stabilize the immune system and regenerate your energy systems.  It also prevents the release of things like adrenaline and cortisol, which are completely taxing to the body.

3 Controversial Topics That Should Be Common Sense

When you have the understanding that everything exists within creation – these topics aren’t as weird as we deem them to be. There is enough room within Source for every single idea, physical thing, impossible and contradicting thought, everything to exist. We experience such a small portion of what reality truly is – who are we to say what is and isn’t real?

Everything is real and we are the ones who get to define what real even means. We’ve forgotten who are we – limitless beings that chose to experience the limitations of physicality because it’s a challenge, a lesson and an incredible experience.

The Afterlife

There is no after life because life is an eternal cycle of constant creation...

It Only Takes These 2 Steps To Shift out of A Low Vibration

Everything in our universe is made out of energy. That solid chair you’re sitting on, your thoughts, emotions and memories are all forms of energy. From a higher perspective, our world is not made of solid mass, it is buzzing with light and movement.

When you’re feeling low, there is a physical energy weighing down on you. It’s a densely heavy feeling that pushes down on us; there’s a reason we call it feeling down. When you’re in a state of exhilarating happiness, your body literally buzzes with energy.

Shifting out of a dense vibration takes a bit of concentration and the want to change. Sometimes we get stuck in a loop of spiraling negativity and we don’t want to be the ones to break it. We are responsible for shifting our own emotions; but that doesn’t mean we can’t have help.

3 Ways to Stay Awake in A World that is Asleep

How do we thrive once we’re awake, in a society that is designed to keep us asleep? Our world is designed purposefully to keep us distracted and disconnected from each other.

Who ever heard of a world where when you get on a bus, you could have awesome group conversations with all the passengers. Or just walking down the street, you see and feel your inherent connection with everyone and can freely communicate with ease. In this world, there is a deep understanding that we are one, so no one is a stranger; we are all aspects of each other.

Until we collectively exist in that reality, you can:

1. Learn

Study, research, inquire and explore. What are the topics that you’re drawn to? Within the realm of spirituality, there are so many subjects to get information on. Aliens, chakras, energy, universal laws, human connection, even science and technology are ‘spiritual’ topics.
