Nearly 70% of all antibiotics manufactured and sold in the U.S. are used in animal agriculture — a staggering amount, by any reckoning. Not only do these antibiotics end up in the meat we consume, but their necessity, and in such volume, leads to the obvious conclusion that the animals providing our meat are being raised in deplorable conditions.

Fortunately, people are becoming more aware of the potential dangers of consuming too many antibiotics, whether from meat and animal products or otherwise. The more that people opt out of consuming these types of meats and other animal products, the more manufacturers will be forced to change their practices, ideally to the point where antibiotics are not needed so routinely.

Indonesian Government Officially Returns Tropical Forest Lands To Indigenous Tribes

Indonesian President Joko Widodo officially returned stewardship of some forest lands to indigenous tribes, in a ceremony called the “Declaration of Recognition of Indigenous Forests”. The land has long been a source of conflict between the Indonesian government and the country’s native population.

Indonesia is a Southeast Asian country comprised of thousands of volcanic islands, making it the world’s largest archipelago. The nation is situated between Singapore, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea and Australia. A former Dutch colony, Indonesia struggled for independence until the mid-twentieth century. Given its widespread nature, Indonesia has rich biodiversity and is home to hundreds of ethnic groups, speaking a multitude of languages.

The word “ego” has such a negative connotation. We refer to people with a detrimental amount of narcism as having big egos. And often, we find our ego is the biggest force between what we think we can do, and what we can actually do.

The ego is an energetic form or structure within our individual experiences that separates us from our higher self. It is, in a sense, a false sense of self. The ego hides behind the “I” and “me” in such statements as:

I am ugly.

I am perfect.

I could never do that.

No one can ever do that as good as me.

No one loves me.

Having such thoughts, and agreeing with even the faintest conviction that they define us, creates and supports the ego.

The energies have been particularly strong of late in terms of bringing up what is ready for release. When the energies are strong, there is no mistaking what that energy is that is trying to leave. Why is this important? Because it is through your identification that you allow it to leave.

Dear Ones, you are sovereign beings. You are the masters of your own path. The universe is always seeking to assist you but ultimately it is your agreement and cooperation with that assistance that allows it to occur. The energies are bringing up things that are now ready to leave, but it is up to you to allow that to happen.

It is like the universe holds up an emotion you are ready to let go of as if to ask, “Are you ready to let this go?” You get to say yes, by identifying what you would like to let leave. By choosing not to look at it, you are deciding to hold it onto it for a while longer.

The fact that it is coming up does not mean you are still unhealed or broken. Far from it! The fact that it comes up means that you have healed to the point where it is ready to leave, which is a wonderful thing.

If you have an emotion that is ready for release, feel into it. What is it? What would you call it? Once you have labelled it, let it go. Wave goodbye to it and see it as tangible proof of the work that you have done.

It is not so hard to find a passion. What you have to do is to let go of all the objections in the world to it. Therefore, let objections go.

It’s not necessary for fathers of sons to regulate what star their sons are to follow.

For instance, a college professor would want his son to follow in his footsteps. The son might desire this for himself as well, or he might not. He could be many things, yet what he chooses to become, let’s say, is a fisherman.

Is it the sea he loves? Is his choice to assert himself to his father? In any case, to be a fisherman is his choice – or is it his destiny?

Some good people skip around in their choices, for their choices do not always stay. They may feel a need to choose as they choose when they choose. Or perhaps their choices are more likely something that happens to them. They simply find themselves in a different place, something like falling in love or falling out of love. It happens.

From the outside, a father could view the son as frittering his life away, yet who has the right to determine the Will of another? Who is closer to merit than another? The judger or the judged? Does one win and the other lose? Who can really account for anyone’s life and all that befalls?

Maybe you made a choice in another lifetime, and your choice occurs now in this lifetime. What is not possible in this world that suits you or doesn't suit you?

Full Moon In Virgo: Seeking Solutions For Our Limitations, Wounds & Blockages

We are having a Full Moon in Virgo on March 12th, however, for those in the Western part of the world it will appear the fullest on the night of March 11th. Full Moons are the peak of the Moon cycle when both the Sun and Moon are in opposite signs, with this case being Virgo and Pisces.

The opposition between the two signs can bring up situations in which we need to learn to work with both sides of the polarity, and in many situations it can be in a challenging or emotionally charged way. In this case, however, the South Node is in Pisces (where we also had the last solar eclipse) and the North Node is in Virgo, which started in November 2015 and will finish in May.

Enlightening human beings are beings of service. How that service appears will be as unique as all other aspects of humanity. Some may serve by helping other people, by assisting others on their own enlightenment journey, by offering healing support, by assisting animals, or addressing environmental issues. For some people, their highest service is simply holding space by being of their highest vibration which assists the grid and transmutes lower vibrating energy.

Dear Ones, just as you do not know what a person's individual soul agenda is, you do not know what their special brand of service is that is their highest offering. We urge you to honour the different service paths as much as you honour the fact that there are many different paths to enlightenment. It serves your planet to have diversity in service.

There is much change that occurs on an ascending planet. The fact that the other areas that require attention are being taken care of allows you to focus on what draws you. You are like a team of specialists, all being seamlessly led to how you can help best.

Know that each and every enlightening human being on the planet is making a profound difference in the way that best serves the whole based on their own individual strengths and soul agenda, and that is what will continue to drive the shift on your planet.

This Restaurant Hasn’t Produced Trash In Over 2 Years

First a statistic, the average restaurant produces about 100,000 lbs of garbage per year. That is 273 lbs a day on average! This garbage can range from paper, plastics, metals, packaging and so on. Most restaurants are using ridiculous amounts of products and or packaging that could easily be cut down with a little bit of thought and effort. One of our main issues is that we don’t think of these things because we usually are just repeating someone else’s model, hence why we are about to destroy our entire world. It seems all we care about is success and money. So much so that we’d rather have money than a planet, yet without the planet we can’t have money… go figure.

The good news is, people are changing and the consciousness on this planet is shifting! More and more people are starting to look at things in a new light and are dropping the old destructive habits. Of course big businesses do get in on it from time to time as they attempt to market all their “green” strategies and products, but most of this is just so they can sell more of whatever they produce. The real passion lies in people like Justin Vrany who runs a restaurant called Sandwich Me In which to date has produced ZERO waste.
