The abuse and misuse of prescription, non-prescription, and illegal opioid drugs is devastating North America, and as municipalities and communities struggle to deal with the many causes for and approaches to resolving widespread opioid addiction, the city Everett, WA is suing the makers of OxContin for their role in flooding the streets with pills.

“Everett’s lawsuit, now in federal court in Seattle, accuses Purdue Pharma of gross negligence and nuisance. The city seeks to hold the company accountable, the lawsuit alleges, for “supplying OxyContin to obviously suspicious pharmacies and physicians and enabling the illegal diversion of OxyContin into the black market” and into Everett, despite a company program to track suspicious flows.” [Source]

Everett has spent millions of dollars in combating the epidemic, and Mayor Ray Stephanson believes that Purdue Pharma, the maker of OxyContin, a powerful opioid which is perhaps the most abused pharmaceutical medication on the planet, should bear some of the burden.

Rational observation leads one to be unable to deny the undeniable:  the toxic burden now being carried by the Earth’s atmosphere, living matter, animals and humans, has taken us all to the brink of apocalypse.

Yet, in spite of evidential states of dramatic damage to the fabric of life on Earth, radiantly beautiful children are birthing on this planet every day, as if in defiant declarations of the power of life over death.

These children are arriving even as nuclear reactors leak, catch fire and melt down, depositing their deadly radioactive isotopes around the planet. Even as a persistent drum beat ‘for war’ reverberates  across continents and seas. Even as mind numbed and micro-chipped robotic humans blunder blindly onwards towards their slavish epiphany.  Even as the skies are torn apart by streams of aluminium sulphate nanoparticles, and depleted uranium continues its mission as a weapon of mass destruction, to rip the very heart out of the warm corpuscles of life.

Yes, in spite of these – and so many more – acts of political, military and corporate sabotage upon the sentient veins of sacred living matter, the children of genius keep coming. And quantum physics reveals the absolute interconnectivity of the diversity of all life, and how we are one. All one.

By: AntiMedia   South Korea — For the first time, special forces units of the U.S. military will participate in ongoing and annual joint drills with South Korea, Asian media reported Monday. And the stated objective of their training is to prepare to take out North Korean leaders in a potential regime change scenario.

From South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency:

“U.S. special operations forces, including the unit that killed Osama Bin Laden, will take part in joint military drills with South Korea to practice incapacitating North Korean leadership in case of conflict.

“The U.S. Navy SEAL Team Six will join the annual Foal Eagle and Key Resolve exercises between the two allies for the first time, along with the Army’s Rangers, Delta Force and Green Berets.”
